There is also a mass market paperback edition of the original story (the first 2 episodes in 2006 were meant to be a 2 part movie) with the same cover art from ABC Family's Fallen mini series **Link Removed**

There are at least two more Fallen books "The Fallen: Aerie" and The Fallen: "Levitation" in the Fallen 2007 episodes Aaron Corbett the young Nephilum revealed to be the Redeemer is on the run with Camael from the Powers that seek to destroy him and other nephilum (children of fallen angels) when he comes face to face with Azazel an angel that was chained to a rock by the leader of the Powers and meant to be imprisoned permanently -- Azazel is glad to recently have been released from his captivity which was supposed to be for all eternity by The Light Bringer (who turns out to be Aaron's biological father) and also Lucifer. Lucifer wants his biological son to redeem him. Aaron sees into him and realizes if he does that Lucifer would just resume his war against God.

Aaron realizes it would be immoral and unethical of him to redeem Lucifer -- Lucifer becomes enragrd he tried asking Aaron nicely but will force Aaron to follow his commands if necessary -- the two get in a fight and Lucifer appears stronger but accidentally falls to his death during the fight. Azazel later is re-captured and imprisoned by The Powers. The Powers beg Aaron for forgiveness in a way it is their fault Lucifer got to Aaron when he did and Aaron decides to return home to his adoptive family. All ends well -- there were a few more details I can't remember at the moment and for those who haven't seen it wouldn't want to give everything away anyways but I too wish Fallen were released on DVD with all the episodes from 2006 and 2007.

Well.. it would technically be a first season because it was an original event, not a series. Kind of like a miniseries. And there is still no word on whether there will be a sequel.. or a full series pickup.
