The Gilmore Girls is outstanding because of the QUALITY
of the production. The actors had to be precise as well
as totally believable. "Am.Teenager" lacks all of that.
They do have a couple things in common, i.e. teen pregnancy, but Gilmore Girls has a lot more depth and teaches viewers more lessons, it's also going to be able to last near as long as Secret Life. But even the een pregnancy similarity isn't that great of a comparison, because Gilmore Girls is about Loralei raising Rory through her teen years. I wouldn't compare the two and say they are similar though, they aren't that similar.

secret life is way more soap opera-y and worse fake acting. gilmore girls had much better acting and it was more real and taught you good lessons, unlike secret life of the american teenager.

totally. I do like the secret life but I really only watch it cause my friends do. I think that it's pretty stupid. I mean, what kind of a guy stays with a girl whose pregnant with another guys baby??? Gilmore girls meanwhile is about as realistic as a t.v. show can get while still being entertaining.
