just watched it!
Posted Mon, 11/02/2009 - 19:18 — v.amparoso i just finished watching "friend or foe" and i'm a little disappointed. i mean it was great, but i felt it didn't live up to all the previews and excitement. maybe it's just me. i mean cappie and casey were awesome. but other than the beginning and them walking around campus and the end, that was it for them. evan was a [filtered word], you don't pick your bros if your bros are being idiots. and he got wade and ferret and jeremy expelled! what gives. although kathryn knew that the gamma psis cheated, lol. anyways. i can't wait for january when chapter 4 comes out =)
I think Cappie knows Evan's betrayal was not due to Casey. He believed him that he didn't know about the cricket plan. HOWEVER, I think Cappie knows Evan isn't completely over Casey so he's always going to question any advice/comments Evan has about them/their relationship/etc. I don't think they'll have any "you didn't tell me b/c you didn't trust me" rift between Casey and Cappie.
Rebecca/Evan will be interesting. Hopefully Rebecca can find someone who isn't still hung up on Casey, but I think thats going to be a problem for her with Rebecca as well.
The biggest thing is Evan got 3 of his brothers kicked out of school, regardless of whether it was his intention or not. He said it himself "when you have to choose between your brothers and your friends you choose your brothers every time."
Not sure what to think about the fire.
Grant, Ginger-Kid, other omega chi's are all [filtered word]. Looks like the KT/OX rivalry is going to be stronger than ever.
Calvin was awesome this episode. Especially loved his interaction with Rusty. Actually all the parts with Rusty, Dale, and Calvin were great. Anyone else think Dale knows Rusty let him win? Hoping Rusty and Dale will be alright, the writers can't split the 3 musketeers(Rusty, Dale, and Calvin) up.
Who was that girl with Fisher at song fest? No way he cheats on Ashleigh again, and if he does, no way is he stupid enough to bring the girl he's cheating with to watch his gf's skit, or maybe he is that stupid. Hope not but I don't think Fisher is going to be around much longer regardless b/c she can't ever really trust him again.
I definitely think Cappie should have decked Evan when they were in the backyard, and they definitely should have ended the episode with a KT/OX brawl that gets broken up by the campus security and we end the episode with all the brothers/pledges in the campus jail, or just the OX's in jail, bunch of [filtered word]-pricks.
I was scared Beaver and Wade would be the ones expelled. We saw all 4(Wade, Beaver, Heath, and Cappie) reconnecting last week and with Heath graduating, I thought something big was going to happen and result in Wade and Beaver's expulsion, the KT's Cappie is closest to, just to really drive home the betrayal. I'm glad I was wrong about Beaver but I cannot believe Wade AND Jeremy are gone in addition to Heath. All 3 of those guys were hilarious, especially Jeremy with his creepy watching people sleep habit, and Wade for his overall ridiculousness.
I agree with all of you except I still have a soft spot for Evan. Let me just say that NOONE can compare to Cappie he is my ultimate, but I was sympathizing with Evan. He was right, Cap's got the perfect girl and his brothers do worship him. Evan doesn't even have his brothers on his side.
That being said, I was alittle disappointed we didn't see more C/C. I took what I could get though, adorable scenes when they were on! I am alittle concerned that this whole fire thing is gonna cause some kind of rift between C/C. Something like you didn't trust me enough to tell me so that I could help you kinda thing, crossing my fingers it doesn't go that route! Here is to the end of January!! I for one will be watching my dvd's and every youtube video out there until then!! Till then everyone, Enjoy!

I really like the whole Cap v. Evan thing because it involves Casey (that's what Cap thinks). I love seeing them fight over her. I hate gamma psi. Their dance horrible too. I don't like Grant anymore. He's turning into a jerk for all the wrong reasons. I loved the quote that Calvin said though, "I'm the only one in this house to does."

I was kinda disappointed too! I mean, I love Greek so I loved this episode, but I was expecting more. Becks and Evan will be interesting, but right now I pretty much want to run him over with a bus. That was such a jerk move. I expected him to be more mature about it. There are much better ways to get control than to screw up people's lives, and if Evan plans on getting far he needs to learn to become independent from his parents not sulk and be a pushover. Grant is just... ugh. I think Calvin is so precious... I feel so bad for him. I WANT MORE. ZBZ really pulled it off amazingly, and I think that Gamma Psi/ Kathryn really need to get in trouble for that. The candle was an accident... they can find a new house. Big whoop. I thought it was hilarious how Kathryn came to ZBZ saying she'll seek punishment for the unfair grading (obviously she knows she did it) then when Casey tells her that the house was on fire she flips out. Hahaha... good times. I need more Greek...Its like an addiction.
I don't think it was Kathryn, she seemed just as surprised to announce Gamma Psi as everyone else did, and I think she really came to the house with the intent to help ZBZ. She disqualified Beth and her dance routine because it was a rule and she likes rules. The rule makes sense too, you shouldn't have outside help for a sorority competition from someone who isn't in the sorority, and it probably didn't come to her attention about Beth until just then. My money is on the other Gamma Psi, cupcake girl (Heather?), anyway she is totally the type to pull a stunt like cheating. She probably slept with the judge to get those scores. And she's an idiot too because everyone knew ZBZ was better and there would be questions if they didn't win, she should have called off the cheating plan, better to lose then have it come out as a cheater.
I'd kinda also like it to come out that something she did started the fire but that would be way too easy for ZBZ and Rebecca.
So I just read the twitter account for the greek show and it looks like we may see a double date with Cappie and Casey with Evan and Rebecca ... sounds like that might not turn out so well ... or maybe a good night?
I think that Evan legitamitely did not want those guys to get expelled. He's still struggling with the fact that he's not the top guy on campus anymore and that he wants to do what he can to stay there. Unfortunately, Cap thinks Casey is at the forefront of his betrayal just as he did freshman year. Hopefully Casey will be able to reason with Cap, but I think the worst is yet to come for Evan and Cap.
What's with the shortage of Cappie and Casey this ep? We got like 5 minutes with them. Cappie is the guy that Casey has fun with ... let's see that this next season.

I agree with you about Evan's motives...but I'm not so sure Cap still believes Casey is the sole reason for his betrayal...Evan made valid points to Cap about where everything stands in his life right now...But Evan crossed the line by calling the cops and getting his brothers expelled...whether that was his intention or not...Cap has always loved his brothers...If the shoe was on the other foot, and Cappie had betrayed Evan this way--I think that Evan would be just as pissed at Cap

Evan is a complete [filtered word]. I personally didn't like the episode that much. I love Cappie and Casey. I really like the Cappie v. Evan "fight" at the end. I've always liked that rivalry. I think too much stuff was crammed into 40 minutes. The dance was awesome. The stunt made me like cry. I love Wade and Jeremy. UGHHH i'm frustrated. I need scenes from the next episode, but I didn't get any! Overall, I am SAD.
Also, Lincoln Heights gets a 2-hour season finale but Greek gets like 1? Evil.

Definitely agree with all this. Too much to deal with, and after everything we get, what, 5 minutes of Cappie and Casey? That's pathetic. There better be some serious make up time come January, I'm already chomping at the bit, how sad! What are we to do for 2 1/2 months?
