Spencer Grammer interview
Posted Tue, 11/03/2009 - 23:58 — karensandThis is a good interview that gives you some insight in to Chapter 6 and what we can expect. She mentions the "last 10 episodes" at the very end, which sounds as if she expects the show to end for sure after Chapter 6.

I hope you all are correct! If so, they could pick up Chapter 6 1 week after the fire... and they could even give us the 4 weeks of Christmas break.
You know... Casey and Cappie could choose to stay on campus during the break and work or something. LOL. I am laughing because no one seems to WORK in this show. (Save Ashleigh and Fisher.)
I think they will stretch it out...after reading the q&a with Dilshad...she implied that they seem to plan on future seasons..as long as they have the viewers I'm sure...
I agree, secret_life_and_kyle_xy. From the various interviews I've seen and read, several cast members have stated that the writers are going to stretch the remainder of the year as far as they can. Chapter 1 ended after where Chapter 5 ended. Chapters 4 and 5 take up what was Chapter 1, but for senior year and left room for some. I really hope Chapter 6 picks up like a week after Chapter 5 ended, but I don't know yet. It all depends on how you interpret this.
I look into your eyes and fall in love all over again.

Hm, well it depends how you interpret this. She says the following, "I think that's going to be the struggle that we see toward the end of the last 10 [episodes]." This was the mid season break, and the chapter we just got done with only had 10 episodes. Who is to say she didn't say the last 10 episodes referring to the last 10 episodes of the season?

It is possible condense their last semester into 1 chapter, as they did in the beginning. Hey, I don't want to be negative, but it sure sounds like that's what she meant.
I don't think she meant it that way, because they haven't even finished their senior yet. They still have a few chapters left of senior year or more, depends on how they will split it up.
