I have been folowing kyle xy ever since the begining and so far have every season thats come out on dvd but i hasve just found out that abc family is canceling kyle xy i was devestated and would wish that kyle xy is braught back.

This show has to come back! It didn't get the proper ending it deserved, and there are clearly a lot of fans who would still watch the show. Bringing it back would not be a waste of money, I guarantee it! This was by far the best show abc family ever had, and since it went off the air, I haven't found anything good to watch on abc family. PLEASE, save the tub!

I really really really miss Kyle XY - please bring him back...

First off I cant really say what I want about abc family. I think everyone can agree how we feel about them. I've never seen a show that gets better every episode and when a commercial comes on I'm like on the edge of my seat. It's like watching a really good movie. Best show I have seen ever. And the ending that the hell I was still sitting there like an idiot waiting for it to come back you cant end a whole season like that let alone the series thats not cool. All these questions and I WANT ANSWERS!!! Secret Life WE KNOW TEENAGE PREGNANCY [filtered word]. you dont have to have a show about it. But anyways some other network should buy it. because people ARE PISSED!!

ABCF it is unfortunate that you've chosen to cancel Kyle XY, and even worse that it was ended so poorly. Fans of this show deserve much better after three seasons of viewership. For what it's worth, you have lost me as a loyal viewer of your channel.

ABC Family made a stupid decision. This network is honestly making me nauseus. First off, they have to run about 10 commercials every single second (JUST in case we missed the exact same commercial they ran just before it), ramming that STUPID new show down everyone's throats.. a show glorifying the (whoo-hoo!) 'teenage life!' of Sarah Palin's daughter. Wow! It's so "cool" to be a tramp in high school, with a bun in the oven. A show with (oooh!) "REAL" adult problems! for teenage girls across America to tune into every week! All that great "drama" about picking a high school boyfriend "to love me and my baby!" LOL The weekly previews we have to see on those commercials about a hundred times a day.... "Oh, I can't be a mother yet, I'm not ready!", "No! I'm HAVING this baby, you guys!", "I think I love him", "I'm not sure if he loves ME", "Oh, what will I ever DO?".. What a JOKE!! And, I'm sure there are thousands of teenage girls all over America, huddled in front of the TV screen every week, just to see this crappy new show about teenage [filtered word], acting like they have "adult" problems and relationships.

What a crap show. ABC Family is stupid. They made a terrible decision canceling Kyle XY. If everyone wants to save Kyle XY, we should all write to the Sci-Fi Channel. They love programming like this. Tell them there's a strong fan base already established, the show is just evolving, and it would be smart for them to pick it up (ABC Family will hand it to them on a silver platter, because THEY'RE in love with "My SECRET Teenage Life" and that Ali Lohan lookalike that stars on the show).

Tell the Sci-Fi Channel that the fans of Kyle XY will follow. I wrote to them already.

Promos for the "series finale" = Blatant false advertising. Like other posters here, I only registered to note the absolute disregard ABC Family has for its viewers. Do you not understand that there are several other channels from which to choose? Bring Kyle XY back. Why not try it on ABC so everyone can see the show? I will continue to surf ABC Family just enough to collect sponsors for some appropriate letters.

I am so upset over the ending of this show, I have just now calmed down enough to post. How could they promote the ending as find out everything you wanted to know and then leave the end hanging. The only show I ever watched on this station was Kyle XY and now I don't ever have to tune in again. I only joined this site to complain how they ended the show. It SUCKED big time.

How can ABC family just cancel a KYLE XY like this? The best show on this channel at that. Especially not even giving the show time to end the show properly. They just sprung it on them from my understanding. And the reason the ratings are low? Hmmmmmmmmm well let's see, there has been a huge gap between the times it ran. Not to mention it was up against prison break.
I'm hoping ABC will pick it back up, if not, In the meantime I'm writing to other networks to see if someone else will pick it up.
What makes me mad is these companies keep doing this. (And I remember seeing a documentary on the tv networks) It's just a game to them. They put on a great show, then when it does really well, put it up against another high rating show to see who can beat out the other, then they take the one off and blame it on low rating. Over and over this has been happening to many good shows. They don't care about what we like and want to watch, it's all about the business, ratings and money. I for one am very sick and tired of their games.
BUT!!!!!! Because I love KYLE XY soooo much, I'm writing into ABC and hoping they will pick it back up, if not, In the meantime I'm writing to other networks to see if someone else will pick it up.

Suggestion, since people bought the DVDs in good faith. Send them back and demand your money back for having an incomplete product. If one buys parts to build a bike and they only give you wheels and a seat, you would be taking them back.

WHY CANCEL THE BEST SHOW ON T.V. I cried when i found out. .At least finish the dang series!

Figures another series dropped by a network most likely without a proper ending.
I think that part of a broadcast license should come an obligation to finish what they started. The way it is now even when the DVD set comes out, we don’t even get the producer/writer discussing where he WOULD have went with the series and the ending we never saw.
Can I sue ABC for breach of contract?
If shows aren’t let, NO required to have an ending, then we will start getting shows with absurd plotlines that producers never intend to deliver on…instead writing rediculous stories just to keep the numbers up.
E.G. LOST, what if the ending was a complete cop out where none of the MANY storylines were sensibly concluded because the producer was simply trying to get numbers by “creating” so many intreging storylines the keep people watching for the (never given) answers?
Well all I know is Kyle XY is the only show I watch on ABCFamily, now there will be nothing I watch…Oh, and I’m a homeowner who buy new cars regularly, stays on the cutting edge of technology (I have BOTH HD-DVD AND Blu-Ray…both of which I feel will fail), with a daughter who I buy everything for and take everywhere to see everything…and spends more money on sponsors than “young” women do.

Oh come on. Really ABC Family? If the decision is split between progressing with Secret Life and Kyle XY, that choice should be easily made. Kyle XY of course. Secret Life has predictable endings. She has her kid and stays with either the father or that other kid. Or she decides to put it up for adoption and stays with either one of those two guys again. Or maybe she’ll lose her baby in the end. There. There would be no point in continuing after that. How developed would you have to get on that one before you had to change the series name?? And by the by, I think that The Secret Life of the American Teenager isn’t even the right name in the first place.

It was picked up by Sci-Fi Channel after 3 years (not sure what network it was on first) and continued for 6 or 7 more years. Lets be hopeful. I’ve always been a science fiction buff, so I got into this series right off. I’ve found that, for the most part, networks tend to kill off their best series’ after doing something stupid first, such as…placing them on indefinite hiatus to artificially drop their numbers, so that they can then justify dropping the series.

Something that people should understand here is that TV is a business, and when networks are paying for what they get, they almost always tend to believe that it’s not worth the expense…even though it may place them at the top of the ratings, which isallegedly what their intention is.

The facts actually seem to add up to the networks not caring about what their audiences actually LIKE.

This is one of the best written, best acted series in a long time, so it makes perfect sense that such a series would be discontinued before their actors started getting paid at the rates they so richly deserve for their work.

Congratulations, ABC…you’re pulling a “Futurama” on your viewers just like Fox did…and eventually, the public will understand that it’s not because you want to do anything truly impressive, but because you want to continue to product an incredible, steaming pile of drivel for the ignorant masses who are really not even worth marketing to in the first place, because they’ll be just as happy watching Jerry Springer, or some other “scripted reality dreck” that seems to be all that any network is willing to produce these days.

Perhaps there are enough ignorant viewers out there who don’t care about what they watch, but I’m willing to bet that there are enough viewers out there who will be more than a little annoyed at yet another great show being axed for corporate greed and ignorance.

Maybe they just don’t want to keep it going because they’re producing it in Vancouver…and they’re afraid they might not get any “bailout” or “stimulus” money from Obama if they spend anything in “one of those terrorists countries” like Iraq or Canada…after all, everyone knows that if you’re not “American” you’re a terrorist, right? Well, unless you’re “American”…in which case, you’re a terrorist too…gotta love that PATRIOT Act, huh?

If anything, they should just change the timing for the show, or it should go to a new station. They’re letting a lot of people down, like myself. Kyle XY has the ability to go multiple directions with it’s storyline which is not limited to having a spin off of Jessi XX if her and Kyle don’t end up together in the end or she dies. As for “secret life” it only has 2 outcomes….outcome A: Baby or outcome B: No Baby at which the story would be over and the show would come to an end so we all know which outcome is going to occur but after that the show only has so many directions to go before it’s ultimately cancelled by season 3. So good job ABC Family you’re making one of the greatest mistakes ever.

The only good thing about Mondays is that I got to watch Kyle XY. Now you have taken that away. It was one of the only shows that my 15 year old son and I enjoyed watching together. Please bring KYLE back!!!!!! I do not watch Secret Life or Greek. Kyle is adorable. The others on the show are great as well. Josh, Amanda, Lori, Nicole, Steven, Decland, and even Jessi will be missed, but I will miss Kyle for a while. Dallas is wonderful. I hope he finds a new series soon. This is crazy! Kyle XY is finally a show on ABC family that isn’t the same boring story line. I enjoy the science, even if it’s not always funcitonal. ABC family needs to appeal to all audiences, not just the young teenage girl. This show sets better examples for young girls/boys than does a show about a pregnant 15 year old or sex hungry college students. what kind of example are we aiming for?

I should have expected this. Beside ABC Family the network ABC is going under canceling all the show worth watched, i.e. “Kyle XY”, “Scrubs”, “Eli Stone”, and “Dirty Sexy Money.” Putting a hold on American “Top Gear”, and losing cast members of “Grey’s Anatomy.”

It’s like ABC is being Obama’s baby network turning to pathetic shows such as “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” and “Greek.” America is not Pleasantville. The reality is that high school and for sure college is not like that especially not frats and sororities.

I’m sure as hell not watching “True Beauty”, “The Bachelor”, “Ugly Betty”, “Wife Swap”, “Supernanny”, and such BS shows. To save me the trouble I’m taking ABC and ABC Family off my TV and DVR channel lineup.

The best part about KYLE XY is that nobody is trying have sex with their sibling in the show.

As for the upcoming series like 10 thing I hate about u and perfect 10, the tittle already sounds like a waste of time. I doubt It will last a season.

I didn’t start watching Kyle xy and now it is getting cancelled! What? There are already shows on ABC geared toward teenage girls. They got Gilmore Girls, Gossip Girl, Secret Life, and kinda Greek/Lincoln heights. Kyle XY is the only show for us guys on there. And Kyle cy is more of a family show than those. If it weren’t for josh and andy having sex and the language, Kyle xy could be on like Disney. Not to mention the secret life is totally unrealistic. Nobody is that active or full of energy when they are 8 months pregnant.

I’m thinking the powers to be do not know enough about what viewers want to watch. There is a mixed variety out here and although I enjoy Secret Life and Kyle XY, Kyle is my favorite and to cancel it will be a huge mistake. It’s not always about the young female viewers, it’s about pleasing a wide range of viewers that enjoy different types of shows. Make an effort to please all of us or its back to watching the big 3 networks.

Why do they have to cancel Kyle XY? This is one of the few good shows left and it’s so rude that it has to end, especially without the right ending. I like “Secret Life” and since it’s made by “7th heaven” creator, it doesn’t just say have sex like many who don’t watch think. It’s about consequences so I actually think it’s a good show for role models and maybe claim “7th heaven” was and that was about sex too. But I agree that if it’s about teen girls, Matt is hunky to keep their attention. But that “Sophie” and “Roomates”? Do not seem family either - esp with a guy saying he likes boobs in the previews is not family either. I like “Lincoln Heights” and am shocked to hear it’s renewed. It’s hardly heard of. I miss “Wildfire” though and now I’m gonna have to miss “Kyle XY”. I was a late watcher but am addicted now and I’ll even miss Jessi too even though she annoys me half the time. It’s wrong to cancel this but keep “Greek” going for example - what does a college show about dating and partying have to do with family? I’d rather teach my kids what they learn about kids and etc then how to drink and to join a sorority/faternity just to have friends. I think ABC is getting sucky and they should keep the good shows going, not try comedies that don’t look funny but are adult.

Like many people have said they would stop watching ABC family because of the stupid ideas about stopping a great show I will be one of those people. My whole family enjoied Kyle XY!! I am a 38 year old man and I lived for Kyle’s new adventures every week. I really don’t think you should cancel Kyle and have a show on there about a girl having a baby. What are we trying to tell our kids, we tell them not to have sex and TV is telling them to have sex and be happy that a kid is having a kid. Well ABC I think you should look at what the fans are saying before you make the final thought to shut down Kyle XY.

ABC Family is letting it's best show go down the tubes, I can honestly tell you that they will lose me as a viewer all together after next monday, hopefully someone at another network will see the promise this show has and pick it up, just like what happened with scrubs. I can't believe all the buzz on this forum hasn't been enough for them to consider not canceling it!

Kyle XY is a truly unique show, with a storyline never told before--at least to my knowledge. Speaking from the view of your average viewer (I'm an 18 year old girl), I honestly believe we don't need anymore pregnant teenagers, clique roommates struggling with their relationships, or grown women figuring out how to retaliate against their unfaithful boyfriends. In all honesty, Kyle XY is one of the shows currently airing (sadly, not for long) that doesn't make me feel like it's causing my IQ to drop. Instead of getting the majority of your views from superficial teenagers, please don't forget there are those of us out there who are thoroughly amused by a clever, unpredictable, inspiring story like that of Kyle XY. Please reconsider your decision.

I love Kyle XY !!!!!! So do all of my friends! And we are all sooooooo disappointed that you are cancelling the show!!!!!!!!! We understand that the time slot for "Sophie" is needed. But couldn't you just take out sercet life. I saw 'Kyle XY' by coincidience.From the first day I've seen it, I started to ask myself that what would happen in next episidos and would Tregars adopt Kyle.Then, Jessi came up against.After that, the question marks appeared on my mind.This time;what would happen to Jessi and Kyle.İn oncoming episodes, Kyle has a lovely family that can protect him.İn spite of the fact that it's not his real 'biological' father who looks after him,he hopefully has Adam Baylin.Kyle has an emotional affair with Amanda.It is an excellent experience for him.Kyle starts to be aware of his emotions and especially life.At that point, audience learns some significant truths.Jessi has the spotlights on her.Her story is completely different from Kyle's.And Jessi, who tries to be a part of the community all the time, is known as a bad person.However, her bad temper is just because of the feeling of to be lost.When Kyle and Jessi meet each other, the idea of them to have an affair strikes my mind.All of a sudden, Jessi changes her behaviours towards Kyle.Jessi's emotions are maybe the result of Latkon to force her, maybe not.Nevertheless,it has to be said that she started to 'feel' something that she has never felt.However, it is an unavoidable truth that Kyle is fall in love with Amanda. And Jessi is just a friend for him.Althoug she is aware of Kyle's situation, Jessi does not stop loving him.Kyle and Jessi have an immortal friendship.They know that they can rely on each other in their hard times. That causes Kyle to recognize Jessi. It is possible that Kyle to undeerstand his true love is Jessi, not Amanda.It is what I expected to be. However, I am devastated when I learned that 'Kyle XY' is gonna end. In the next episodes, Kyle and Jessi would have a marvellous affair which Adam and Sarah could not have.

When being told by my 26 year old sister that the show was in its last episodes I was like "duh...the seasons about to end",when she then said there will not be another season I was furious, how could any TV network cancel a show that has made a huge impact to a ginormous amount of people? I wanted to cry, but did not want to let my emotions erupt, so I played it off like it didn't bother me and said "Marina...how about you do something to keep it on", she then replied "Why don't you", so that made me realize I should, so that is why I am hear to keep this show running because I'm a ShowStarter and I'm never going to be a ShowStoper and watch my show be the final Omega I am going to do whatever I can do to keep this show running.

I feel like part of the show and it helps me realize that there are a lot of unexplained answers out there and if Kyle can find out more clues to answer his questions, we can be on that journey with him and experience the excitement together, because don't you wish we could all have all of our questions answered? I commend the person or persons that came up with this brilliant show of a young high-school boy that was created by a science team that wanted to have all the answers in the world answered, but they gave it to the invention that they created and so now he holds the key to unlock the mysteries of the world.
