I know. And to think Kyle is only at the end of season 1 here for Australia on cable so not everyone get an opportunity to see it. If you get that chance to come down under make sure you do your homework first as each capital in Australia offers a different experience.

Melbourne - is like Europe with a better exchange rate. We have a great nightlife, clubs, bars and theatres as well as some awesome sporting venues. We have shopping districts that can match Paris & London. We also have great wineries. If you come to Melbourne be sure to check out the fairy penguin parade at Phillip Island and Eureka Tower in the city.

Brisbane - is like Disney World in Florida. Lots of sun and sand with plenty of theme parks. You also have some of the finest world heritage natural beauty such as the great barrier reef.

Sydney - is like New York. Lots of bars and clubs and very congested. It's better points are Bondi beach and the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Adelaide - I think is a bit like the Nappa Valley in California. Surrounded by great wineries and breathtaking views. It's also for some the gate way to the Northern Territory. If you get the chance you can head to Copper Peady to check out their underground homes and Opal mines. But if you go it can hit up to 45o+ celsius.

Perth - is like Perth. It's a big sleepy town that offers allot is your into sailing. It also has a reef like Brisbane but it's less touristy.

Darwin - is the gateway to the Kakadu national park and croc country (and I don't mean shoes). If you into nature and meeting some of the oldest native culture in the world this in the place to visit.

Canberra - our national capital, Don't bother all roads lead to parliament house and I don't think any lead away. LOL

Please note that as I talk about the capitals and site seeing the items mentioned could be some distance from each other. I'm talking 1000's of kilometres.

On the plus side the legal age to drink is 18 and for every US dollar I think you get something around $1.40 Australian if not more.
