I know this sounds a bit strange; to start another campaign while two others are running already. But trust me; if all goes well, all three campaigns will add up to saving the show. God Willling
This was originally Prophet's idea(also known as Tibby xy at KyleXY(dot)net). She posted a thread about it a couple of weeks ago. But unfortunately, we were all so busy to tend to this new idea that the thread soon died away before anyone got a chance to know well about it

The idea is to convince the Alamo Draft House Theatre to host a marathon event for season one of Kyle XY. That way we could gather more supporters and draw the attention of the networks to us at the same time. Imagine, we can send invitations to the cast of the show to sign autographs after the screening.

So what we need to do now is to make the guys at aintitcool(dot)com interested enough to post a request in their blog for Kyle XY screening. Also; we need to email the Theatre execs about it, perhaps they will listen to our plee.

The good news is that Prophet actually emailed them and they told her to wait for a reply in October... We have to show them guys how important it is to us.

Here's a draft of what you can write to them:
My name is (write your name here!) It has come to my attention that the films and other entertainment materials that are screened at your theatres win more fan base than they had originally generated when they were first presented on the silver screen; for example, Monster Squad by the director Fred Dekker.

Back in 1987 the film was aired on the silver screen for only two weeks with a mere total profits of a little above 3 million dollars while its popularity was down by 53%. After it was reintroduced to the audiance at your theatre in April 2006, a DVD release was issued that became and remained a best seller at Amazon(dot)com since the date of its release in October 7 2007. And finally, a remake of the movie is in the production process by Robert Cohen.

I was hoping that you might consider doing the same thing for a show called Kyle XY. This awesome show was canceled due to very ambiguous reasons. One of them was not having the fan base needed to make it stay on the air.

The show is family orientated with a touch of science fiction, comedy and romance. It discusses family issues and values as well as teenage problems in a non violent and non graphical context which makes it fit for all ages.

The story begins when a sixteen year old boy walks out of the woods with no clothes on, no memory of who he is or where he is from and unable to communicate. A psychologist decides to take him home to her family to try to help him remember his past but ultimately the family all “fall in love” with this innocent child who is learning everything from the taste and need for food, to being able to fall asleep. In a compelling plot, the viewer follows Kyle as he discovers the truth about himself, about humanity and what utterly makes us all human.

We are hoping that you will consider a one or more day marathon event of Season One. Kyle XY is truly a one of a kind show that appeals to all ages. From the opening dialog which sets up the plot to the incredible, always appropriate music, to the ending dialog with its always great message, this show deserves another chance to win the fans it should have been able to when it was on ABC Family. We also would love to attract another major network who would consider picking it up and continuing the stories of Kyle XY.

So, it's been decided guys that a mass mailing to the Alamo draft house theatre will be in effect. The date is NOV the 27th right after Kelly's mass mailing.
