To generate even more awareness for Kyle XY in hopes that another network will pick it up, Comet and I are launching A BRAND NEW CAMPAIGN! This time we will be sending letters to the television show Entertainment Tonight. Our goal is to get them to do a story on Kyle XY and all of the fans who are trying to save it. The mailing address can be found on kylexy.net on the thread with the same title as this one. All letters to be submitted by Nov. 23rd. The fight continues Kyle XY fans! Happy Mailing!
This is my letter to ET:
Dear Sir/Madame,
First off I would like to introduce myself. My name is.() I can say that I am one of the dedicated fans to a wonderful show called Kyle XY.
You may have recieved numerous letters by now about the same show. The problem is that by next January; it will be a year since this exceptional show was decided to be cancelled. We have been fighting for its return ever since we knew about its cancellation but unfortunately; no one have responded to our pleeds. We have done everything imaginable from sending hand written letters to printing flyers about the show and handing them out in Comicon of San Diego. We have numerous petitions signed by thousands of fans from all over the world which we printed and mailed to ABC Family network to prove that there's a wide fan base for this show. We even sent thousands of letters to other networks asking them if they would consider picking up the show.
What gathered people around it was its simple way of presenting family morales that suited all ages. Also, it discussed teenage problems and human relationships in a delightful and attractive way. All that wrapped up in a compelling plot that had a touch of science fiction, comedy and romance.
Our next plan is to try to get the Alamo Draft House in Austin, Texas screen a one (or perhaps even more than one) day marathon event of Season one of Kyle XY. At the same time, we haven't given up on SyFy Network hoping that they would consider picking it up since they have a list of shows of the same genre.
What we hope is that ET could do a story about our efforts to save this show so that, perhaps, other networks might become interested and pick up the show if ABC Family network continued to ignore us.

As you guys may already know, I'm sending two letters (now with "save Kyle XY" pictures) every Monday. However, I was thinking that on the day we're supposed to send in massive amounts of letters (at least that's what I'm doing on Nov. 23rd) I was thinking of sending in a dvd of my videos (NOT my second video, but my first and the other one(s) I'm planning to post before that date)......... what do you guys think? Too much? Good/bad idea?

I’ve made another video (I couldn’t start on videos for other campaigns because I have something in my mind that I need to say!!!!)…. So I said it in the video.
Please understand, the video is NOT Recommended For Children (it has a Mature Theme) because it contains language that may be disturbing or incomprehensible to minors. In other words, the video is nothing but an outlet that contains coarse language and crude content so that I may express what I feel like saying to the executives at ABC Family that canceled Kyle XY.
If you are of age (what’s the recommended age for mature videos? 17?) then go to youtube and type: “Kyle XY and ABC Family” on the search bar. [Type WITH the quotes]
However, and I can’t stress this enough, if you have issues with profanity, DO NOT look at the video! Don’t complain that the video is “inappropriate!” I feel that I’ve exercised all due diligence to avoid any of these comments… so if you easily get offended, please exercise some restraint and don’t watch the video (for all you other viewers…. Enjoy!)
Also, for those who haven’t seen the previous video (or for those who wish to see it again), please type: “Why YOU should save Kyle XY” [either with or without quotes…. This one makes no difference. My Id is painintheauss on Youtube (just in case you have trouble finding the videos)]. And, you may see this posted on a lot of different threads... I want to maximize exposure, please forgive the Inconvenience.

I know some of you are tired of seeing my posts, but I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm sending in "save Kyle XY" visual aid with the letters, I figured that someone may want to do the same (I'm adding instructions to my video with my letter, but I feel that a picture will get the reader more interested in reading letters... especially if they haven't seen the show).

I asked moon about the graphics (which, remarkably, was made with Microsoft Word), she gave me the go-ahead to send the Postcards/Flyers (I had to ask since I didn't make them).

I just hope that soon we can be posting how great it is to have the show back on the air instead of thinking of new and exciting ways to get people motivated to fight for the show. I know that I'm not stopping until the show is back on the air; I know that it sounds extreme, but I am obsessed with the show (not in that crazy/dangerous form of obsessed, just that obsession that fills me with optimism and the urge to fight till I/we win! type of obsessed).

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt Andy...
sorry i havent been here in a while my aunt Veronica who lived in New Jersey just died. She was only 42 my mom's younger sister!! My aunt died of a heart atack!!
We weren't that close she and my mother didn't get along well. Anyway I sent a few letters to Entertainment tonight some adresssed to Linda Bell Blue.

Firstly, I'm sorry about your loss
My mother spent weeks in Argentina when my grandfather died... I know how death affects families...even if you hardly ever see the other person.
Secondly, and I apologize if this sounds insensitive, I certainly don't want to come off as such, but I posted a lot of information on your thread (Kyle Xy more then a show!!!!! kind of an impractical idea!!) and I was wondering if you still want to continue with that idea. I know that my timing is horrible, but I have a chance to go to California tomorrow and I was thinking that I can meet up with you to discuss your protest in person (If you're comfortable with meeting). I have to make my decision tonight so I'll continue to check this thread to see your response.

Yes and then they turnt his charachter into a ghost for like two episodes.
It was pathetic how they killed him off and even more pathetic that they used him as a ghost with horrible make up.
