we're doing something different
Kyle xy in Four Minutes (you guys have to watch this!!!)
Posted Mon, 12/08/2008 - 18:00 — hibiscus345It's awesome!!
It's under blog post on the main page. It should be the first one.

At the end of the Four Minute Video, there are a few preview scenes from Season 3. (Time = 3:12 to 3:55 - about 30 seconds long)
#1: Kyle (dressed in his tux) in a large warehouse-like space. There are currents of electricity running all over him. (Cnith - Similar to Heroes' Elle's out-of-control special effects.) Kyle looks taken aback by this phenomena, then he looks up as the screen fades to black. (Maybe the electricity is coming from above and we'll see a superjump?)
#2: Kyle, in his tux on a gurney being wheeled by someone wearing a white hospital coat. He's unconscious as they stop and lock the gurney in place.
#3: Kyle, wearing his tux shirt and pants (no jacket), restrained on the gurney in a very-dark room. He seems to be "coming around", turning his head from the audience side to face the ceiling. There are monitors in the background and black (Why?) overhead surgical lights. It looks something like the room we saw in the "Search for 781229" "Implant" video. Hope they just reused the set.
#4: Jessi and Kyle ready to kick some (). Kyle's wearing his tux, sans bow tie. Jessi's wearing a black zippered hoodie. (Must be a stunt double involved - they always put them in hooded jackets when they use a stuntperson in a scene.)
#5: Jessi closeup - she looks concerned or worried about something.
#6: White ghostly handprints, smeared and dripping, outside a door with the numbers "505" on it. The lighting reminds me of ultraviolet light that they use in cop shows to see blood.
#7: Camera closes in on the handprints closest to the door and the lighting changes to normal. We can see that there are two bloody handprints wrapped around the door frame. (Someone used two hands to try and hang on - I can see a left and a right print.)
#8: Kyle is sitting/kneeling next to his tub and Jessi lies in it, surrounded by ice cubes. She suddenly sits up with a start and Kyle reaches out, concerned. The camera zooms in on her face, but it's too dark to see what her expression is in the shot.
#9: Kyle, back in his tux sans tie outfit, running down a long hallway. Looks like the warehouse.
#10: Kyle is in the warehouse next to a workbench, crouching on the floor. He puts his fists over his ears (like he's hearing something painful) and then launches himself straight upward.
#11: Kyle on his way up - the aerial view of the factory floor is interesting - you can see the yellow-and-black caution stripes on the floor and the workbench itself.
#12: This is a shot of Kyle reaching the top of the very-high warehouse ceiling. We can see light fixtures among the beams and some other bright light source to his right side. They could be windows.
#13: A dark-colored Volvo going down a wooded two-lane road. (This looks like the road we saw in the promo video, where Kyle "checks his memory banks.") Can't make out the license plate, sorry.
#14: Kyle's driving the Volvo, Josh is in the back seat/passenger side, and Nicole is reading directions. Kyle looks over at her directions.
#15: Nicole looks up from the directions and says "Look Out." Everyone looks at something ahead on the road.
#16: Very dark split-second image. It looks like Lori because I can just make out auburn wavy hair. It could be a club or The Rack.
#17: This is also too dark to make out much, but it is set in the warehouse/factory place. There is someone flying through the air, I guess after being tossed since they're flailing, lol.
#18: An elevator setting shows a man holding a basket of laundry. It's the same green carpeting that we saw Jessi on in the promo video, so maybe it's her apartment building. The man is Michael Cassidy, the "face of Latnok" from the Comic Con panel. He's played by Hal Oszan.
#19: Kyle, in a spiffy blue sweatshirt, running across a lot of some sort. Looks like a dock area.
#20: Kyle slides across the hood of a taxi that got in his way. Great shot!
#21: Kyle jumps off a dock, still wearing that blue sweatshirt, into the waters.
#22: Kyle in mid-jump. He has his arms over his head like he's Superman! Cute - he does a "jack knife" before he hits the water. (Stuntman must have been a diver, lol)
#23: Kyle diving into the water, head-first.
#24: Kyle enters the water right near an anchored ferry boat with the name "White Rabbit" across the bow.
#25: We see a door with a poster for some event - can't make out the printing. Jessi kicks down the door. In the hallway, where she's standing, there is a bulletin board with a light above it.
#26: Jessi strides in and grabs the startled occupant by the throat. (A habit of hers, isn't it?) He has long hair and looks like a grubby college geek. He's wearing a blue shirt, but no glasses.
#27: We see a closeup of Kyle concentrating/being dizzy for a split-second, then they show him dressed all in black. Too dark to make out the background.
#28: Someone approaches a front door to a house. It has stained glass "sidelights" and a brass mail slot.
#29: Closeup of Jessi with straight hair, a grey/black shirt and a ticked-off expression. The room has vertical blinds, based on the wall shadows behind her. She says something then takes off, running and then jumping over a lighted display case.
#30: Kyle (Wearing the blue shirt) holds out his hand (as if to say "No!") as Jessi leaps across a lighted glass display case filled with fruit and eggs. It could be The Rack.
#31: Jessi crashes into the glass displays on the wall, destroying everything and falling to the floor.
#32: Kyle rushes to check on the now-unconscious Jessi lying on the floor. (Amazing how they always land face-up, isn't it?)
#33: Kyle jumps off the tall building in a single bound.
#34: Kyle sticks the landing, looking a bit surprised at himself.

Nice list.
I hadn't realized just how many sneak peeks we were given for season 3 so far...awesome...
Well, #26 and #27 killed my theory I made in another thread, with dorm rooms and Mark...
After watching it, I thought that the room she breaks into could be the same room that Jessi had 'nightmares' (guessing) about with the bloody hand prints. So, could the bloody hand prints be related to the death that Julie Plec told us about in the Comic Con video?
I was thinking the whole bloody hands thing was a nightmare because the scene after that has her shooting up from an ice-filled tub with an expression of horror... O.o...
Wait a minute... did I just suggest Jessi was sleeping in an ice-filled tub? LOL.
I probably got that wrong... I mean...Sleeping in an ice filled tub... o.O. I'm all for the whole Kyle training Jessi on how to keep the internal body temperature constant...but sleeping in it?
--okay... anyway...
Referring back to the top of your list, I don't think #1 was in a "warehouse-like-space."
I think #1 is outside the school, when he first discovered the ring. If you look behind him, there are the school-gym-looking doors from the last episode. And I'm guessing, from how he's wearing everything exactly how the last season left him, that that's the first moment of episode one for season 3. Plus, you can see Kyle staring with complete distress at his hand, and he seems to be holding the Latnok ring, where, I'm guessing, all the electricity came from.
...is it January yet...?? Lol.

Your location for # 1 makes PERFECT SENSE! Of course it's outside the school - he still has his tie on, lol. His looking up to the sky confused me; I thought it was inside. The electricity isn't a "new power" though - it's a weapon being used against him to knock him out.
Thanks for the correction - I'll see if I can fix my post.
#26 and 27 just doesn't look like Mark (or Cooper, for that matter) to me. I really expected it to be Mark and it wasn't until I paused the video that I changed my mind. We only get a glimpse of his face, but it's much rounder than those two characters. I could be wrong, though.
I think Jessi was put in an ice bath for some reason. Doctors used to use ice baths to bring down fevers or cause hypothermia before dangerous surgery. Maybe Jessi was short-circuiting and Kyle put her in the ice bath to save her (again)? It's interesting though - I never noticed that the tub contained anything until I watched in full-screen.
I think the bloody handprints belong to Sarah and she's the one who dies. kxyfan noticed that there are two different apartment numbers. We see Jessi in front of Apt 501 in one scene, but the handprints are on 505.
I think someone was attacked in the hall and dragged into apartment 505. You can see that the injured person was forced along the wall (smeary ghost prints) and then the bloody handprints actually wrap around the door frame. Whoever was hurt didn't want to go in there.
Sarah and Jessi probably live in 501. I'm guessing Sarah's the person who was attacked and she'll be the person who dies this season. (As revealed at Comic Con this past summer)

Oh yeah, definitely. The electricity was probably some sort of weapon or stun attack or something other than a new power. I just wonder how that one scene in the 10 sec preview, with electric waves clinging to Kyle's hand went down. We still don't know whether that's directly related to him be electrocuted.
Ahhh, I didn't think of the idea that Jessi could've needed the icebath in a medical point of view.
On terms with the mysterious hand prints, I completely agree with you. I think that Sarah will be the one who's die. It's just sort of creepy though. You notice how high the hand prints were on the wall? And how drenched the brown wall was with that much blood spatter. Any CSI people here to work the scene??? Lol.
With how close the hand prints are to each other suggests that they were literally off their feet, being forcefully and tauntingly dragged into the room. Normally, in those types of situations, the hand prints would be closer to the floor, wouldn't it? And if not, and the indeed victim was standing, wouldn't you grab as much of the door frame as you can to brace yourself? Your hands wouldn't be THAT close to each other...
It makes a lot of sense for Sarah/or Sarah and Jessi, to have lived there. I mean, Jessi must have regularly visited the apartments, as demonstrated with all the photos of her and Cassidy together in the hallway.
So logically, Sarah the one who's going to die. But, it's just too freaky and depressing. We were told that Jessi moved in with the Tragers because Sarah didn't think she was right for the job to be a mother, (at least I think they said that) and then we have a crime scene??
I'm sensing severe trauma/guilt coming for Jessi... Poor chick. And what a bloodbath of a death...
I bet that's where the whole "Is Michael Cassidy Good or Bad??" bit derives from. Just like all the conspiracy theories about Foss and Taylor, almost everyone is gonna suspect that he had something to do with it. After all, he DOES live in the building...
Lol. We're already suspecting who dies, and I'm going off on Michael Cassidy being the possible killer, and I haven't even seen the first episode yet. Ah... sorry, I get carried away. lol.

I didn't think the handprints were that high up - they're between the apartment number and the door lock - about chest height. Maybe she was being carried. It is sad about Jessi - poor kid can't catch a break. They should have already moved her to foster care and tons of mental help. The last thing she needs is a "relationship." (Long Live Kyle and Amanda!)
OoooOOOooo - here's a wild theory - the college kid killed her so Jessi tracks him down for revenge. lol j/k
Cassidy looks too old for Jessi as a love interest. Probably another daddy figure like Brian Taylor, in my estimate. Maybe he's also a psycho-killer. (Anyone remember "The Pretender" with the cannibalistic secret agent brother of Jared's nemesis?)

It looked like Jessie was screaming when she came up from that tub of ice.
I hope Latnok didn't have a chance to embed anything into Kyle or Jessie that will change them. Oh, that is a scary thought.

Eh, who knows? There are lots of strange coupling. To tell the truth, I can see it happen. Whether I'd be happy or not about it, remains the question when we actually see the season.
Really, I just don't think Jessi is anywhere near ready for a relationship. I think she cares more about her powers and developing them, than have a guy. After all, it's all she really known, unlike Kyle who actually experienced an 'ordinary' life.
I'm basically at a moot point when it comes to Jessi's new love interest.
And
Oh man... that college student apparently needs WAY more therapy and mental help than Jessi, to kill off Sarah like that... j/k
So are there any guesses why Kyle had to rush into the water?

I think that Jessi falls into the water because on media net there is a picture of her and kyle at the carinival (in the episode Physic Friend) and she has a blanet wrapped around her and looks wet. Also when Kyle jumps in the water he is wearing the same shirt as in a picture from earlier in the episode.
All the good ones are either gay, married, or fictional characters in books or movies.

Hibiscus is right - the four-minute video is great. At the end, there are a number of scenes from Season 3. Check them out!

It is great - we were discussing it in this thread that the mods started. http://community.abcfamily.go.com/essential-kyle-xy
It started out slow, but then packed in the action at the end.
I LOVED the little "sneak preview" of Season 3 at the end of that video.

Great music too. It sounds like Michael Suby, the Kyle XY composer/writer. It's not on his myspace page (michaelAsuby) though the piano instrumental of "She Could Be You" is back on his music player.
