Well, after seeing the second promo and realizing the wedding party (I think) I guess he *surprisingly* does! Either that, or they get married without his blessing. But then why would they throw them a party?? So I guess so. Or maybe he doesn't at first and then does later...

If they are married going into the new season we will have a start to a huge storyline for them.. Dating is one thing now living together and actually have to work things out for themselves is there challenge. She wont be able to run home to daddy when there is a problem and he cant run. They have to learn to work together and listen. Intersting to see how Sage will work her way into that storyline for next season will she be a good supportive friend or cause trouble
i dont know what to think..lol..i've learned in the past that previews lie..lmao...so many times i thought certain things were going to happen, and i was like wtf?
i wanna believe that eddie's not gonna try n stop it, but it's very hard for me to believe that. it's not realistic in this day n age for a man to agree to let his 18 y.o. daughter marry. but i hope yall are right....

The previews are never what the seem so he may be there to give his blessing. Chassie are both 18 so they don’t need permission or approval. Jenn and Eddie were around their age when they got married and Jenn was pregnant (with Cassie) and we know her parents didn’t approve of Eddie or her marrying him and at that age. Perhaps Eddie wants to take another route and support his daughters decision. Charles is not a bad guy to have for a son in law.
I would think that Charles and Cassie being engaged has to bring up some difficult memories for Jenn and I think especially Eddie. It is obvious that Jenn sees a lot of how she was when she was younger in Cassie and Charles and she is the one person who seems to see that their relationship is really past the point of a teenage love. I also think that Cassie is a Daddy's girl and I don't think that in the end that he will like the idea of his oldest child being married without him being there. I'm sure that he would've liked to have had his family and Jenn's at their wedding especially looking back now. I also think that it would make Cassie at least a little sad to have to elope because, I think that she would want Eddie to give her away at her wedding and for her family to be there. This may explain her sadness in part of the promo for next week.
I thought he was going to stop the wedding, but after reviewing the trailer again, I believe he just wants to give away his baby girl.
Lest hope so.U know how they trick us and leave us hanging.I want Chassie married and stronger than ever with less drama.

i dont think she has to, I think Jenn will for her. Cassie is doing what mom told her to do, the only way for her to be happy is to follow her heart and Charles is just that. He wouldn't want to miss this for his daughter and finally he will except Charles as part of her life.
i think the only reason that eddie is going to interupt the ceremony ...is because he wants the whole fam to be their! thats why everybodys running to the church. thats my opinion, idk i could be wrong

Yeah, i agree. He's not trying to stop the ceremony, he's trying to tell her to wait and let her family share the moment.
