Posted Thu, 11/05/2009 - 18:07 — chrisbeeHere are some ratings I got from the piedback forums, a ratings site. I'm pretty sure with these numbers we will get another season along with Greek. Greek gets another season for sure because it's a half a season split in 2.
Latest ratings from Monday Nov. 3:
Monday cable finals
Lincoln Heights
- 1.109 million viewers
- 0.6/1 HH
- 0.3/1 A18-49
Greek
- 0.660 million viewers
- 0.5/1 HH
- 0.3/1 A18-49
This is Greek's lowest ratings so far this season (with a high of around 800,000) while these current numbers are Lincoln Heights highest viewership this season. 2nd highest has been 900,000. Lincoln Height's lowest have been around 750,000. Congrats to both shows!

secret life has over 4.50 million viewers

LhFan2 said it best. the demographics are in SL's favor right now. Theyve got the soon 2b adult teenage audience, the young adult teenage audience and the super tweener audience. they've got it all covered but Lh is slowly creepin up there.

These numbers are great!!!!
It shows that LH has grown steadily throughout the season and has A LOT more steam left in its engine, especially when you consider the fact that it was not promoted this season. I am sosooo proud of the show and its fans. Continue spreading the word.
I expect it to go up more next week for Chassie's (possible) Wedding and the issue with Nate Ray.
Yay!!!!! Imagine what the numbers would be if they actually got the same type of promotion as Secret Pregnant Girl or whatever it's called and Greek.

That's why I'm dying to see Charles and Cassie in college. Chassie in college will cut into Greek's demos; which means between them in college, Lizzie in high school and Tay in middle school, we've all the youth to young adults demographics covered.
And of course, Eddie and Jenn bring in the older adults.
And if Chassie indeed marries, they'll also cut into Secret Pregnant girl's demos. Who the heck wants to see a child with a child in high school when they can see a bold, smart, attractive college couple struggle to make life on their own under the watchful eyes of fantastic parents? And then there's Tay and his talents - he's grown so much and matured so much this season. In fact, I'd say this has really been his coming of age season. If Johhny Nightengale could somehow return as a twin for Lizzie, she'd have a boyfriend she actually has chemistry with and the show would be perfect.
Now I can't think of a show on ABCF that can beat those story odds!

Now that World Series is over I imagine the ratings will do pretty well, maybe around the same, a tiny bit more, or a tiny bit less, but it won't drop below 850,000 that's sure, maybe not even 950,000. Even though this last episode also aired during a game, which makes the ratings pretty impressive. If there's any loss it'll be around Gossip Girl's timeslot. It's airing a controversial episode a lot of people are talking about, some threesome between the stars lol. Evenso I wouldn't worry, let's keep the ratings for Lincoln Heights high everyone!

I have a question about ratings, though... I know how they are measured, but what if you have two tvs in your house? And say they are watching two different shows at the same time - which one gets the viewership for that house? Do both shows?

It's done by household and number of people in the home, doesn't matter if you watch the show on the same tv =)

Good question! I believe it's whatever TV has the ratings device in it, and most homes only have one, so whichever tv uses the digital cable, satellite, or Nielsen TV box contributes to the ratings of whatever show is on that particular TV. If both tvs are used in ratings result data than yes it contributes to both shows.
