Take A Stand for Lincoln Heights(Please, everyone read this!!)
Posted Wed, 10/07/2009 - 19:13 — lincolnheightsdivaIt's obvious that everyone on the board is a true lincoln heights fan. We are all well aware that Lincoln Heights is not promoted and advertised very much in comparison to other ABC Family shows. While I applaud ABC Family for giving us one of the few black family dramas on television, I must say their efforts for the continued success of this show have been weak at best! As a LH fan, i'd like to see us all pull together and login to the ABC Family.com Forum Rules Thread. I've provided the link to this feedback page below. Please, everyone take a few moments and visit this thread. Take a few minutes and post your thoughts on Lincoln Heights lengthy season departure, limited episode numbers or any other reasonable programming issues. They've made themselves available to us so let's take advantage of it. I'm sure we'll all understand if they don't respond to each and every comment we leave but maybe a few of us will receive a return email. Let's see if we can get some positve feedback.

Even something simple like on Monday posting that you're watching "Lincoln Heights" is good because all of your friends, family, etc. will see it if they can see your profile on Facebook, My Space, Twitter, etc. You may even be surprised someone you know could already be watching "Lincoln Heights" and post something about your message. It only takes a second and is free as well.
oh, ok! i do something like that on greatdaygames.com when i'm playing games. i post a message:
"watch abcfamilys lincoln heights mondays @ 8pm" i hope it got someone's attention.
Bump! I also think that putting a simple update in your Facebook, Twttter. My Space etc. profiles could be a good idea.

imagine how big of a show LH's would be if they put all old seasons on DVD and the gave it better advertising and better promotion and the actors/actresses actually go on talk shows(also if they had commercials shown on other channels besides abcfamily such as:MTV,BET,Vh1,E!) NOW THIS WOULD SET THE SHOW OFF THE CHARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats a good idea I will have to write something up for them. The treatment of LH is very poor yet it still does well in the ratings which I think says a lot about it.

Seriously, I'd like to do more than bump. Just read the thread on ABC Family bringing Greek back so early and we have to wait for LH. I'd like to do more than BUMP this thread. I'd like to kick! Somebody needs a good swift KICK to put some pep in their step and make some serious decisions regarding this show.
They're treating this show like it's a sloppy second. Honestly, they act like LH it's just an after thought. I'd like to reach my hand through my computer and choke the sh%t outta somebody!

If you haven;t sent a comment or posts to ABC family forum, please take some time to do so. apparently, per Rob, we will be getting LH DVD's very soon. Not sure if all our comments and questions had anything to do with this but hopefully it did and are efforts were not in vain. !!!!! Yay
