but honestly? I think Sasha/Emily, Sasha/Payson or Sasha/OC. i personally like Sasha to be the flirt that he is. if he hooked up with someone it would totally ruin his character atm. but that's just my opinion...

Well, I agree with the starter of the thread. I'd really like to see Payson and Sasha together if the show continues. Since it currently seems as though she may not be able to go to the Olympics, the only other option I can see her taking up (to keep part of the gym at least) would be starting to learn how to coach. I agree with the people who say she's a bit young for Sasha.... just a TAD illegal there. BUT, i can see them being a sort of slow but evolving couple, as she grows up, especially if she starts helping with coaching (just an idea). Personally I just love them as a couple, but if it were to happen right now.... it just probably wouldn't be the best time for show, especially for people like me who like them together, their relationship would ruin Sasha's character (atm) and completely discredit the relationship as Payson looking for a way out of disappointment and career failure, etc.

I dont think Sasha would do that. Sasha seems responsible and I dont think he would want to hurt the girls gymnastics careers.

Okay at first I read this and thought....ew.....but then again maybe it's not so weird, does anybody remember that kind of awkward sexual tension between Emily and Sasha in 'Run Emily Run'? Then again I think the show is just trying to portray Sasha as a father figure to Emily so I'm sure they won't end up together....the coach wont end up dating any of the girls he's too old for "family" television.

at the moment, i dont really care who he's with. it wouldnt surprise me if he hooked up with kim because that would make great television. it would break the family, payson would be devastated and she would see sasha differently, and it would possibly lead to a divorce between payson's parents. i hope that doesnt happen but who knows what can go on with this show. its pretty unpredictable. i definitely wouldnt mind it if he happened to get closer to emily's mom, chloe because she could probably use a well-grounded man like sasha. he could help her get away from men like joe...whoever he is.
Goodness gracious!!!! Why in the hell would Sasha hook up with Payson or any of the other gymnasts unless he is a pervert or something?! I believe that Sasha is like a second father figure to the girls. If he has a relationship with any one of them it would be GROSS!!!! Besides he is wayyyyy to old for them....I believe they are like 16,17 right?....he's probably like in his late 20s or early 30s. IT WOULD BE SICKKKKKK if he hooks up with any of them.

payson seems to be developing a relationship with another male gymnast. Emily seems to be developing boy troubles lol. I think sasha's relationship with the gymnasts are close but nothing quite that close(ewww!)
Sasha could have chemistry with any of those mom's but Im rooting for Chloe, Em's mom. he seems like he could really care for her and the way he was with Emily in the last episode was sweet. they could very well be compatable...we dont know how he feels. i guess we'll just have to see what happens.
Come on guys this is a television show not real life! Some of the responses to this post are just absurd. First that I would like to address is the frequent comments about this not being enough about gymnastics. It's not a documentary so why would it be just about gymnastics? It's a base for a storyline something different than the usual setting of a high school. They are actresses not gymnasts! Which brings me to my second point... the way people talk about characters as if they are real analyzing behavior and what they may or may not do.
Example: "What? She's like 16 or 17 right? Sure he's attracted to her but, yikes, do you think he'd act on that? Payson does obviously idolize him, so...."
"I think that he is going to emd up with emily's mom because the girls are too young and paysons mom has a good realtionship with her husband"
Really???
Again these are not real people nor real situations going on. Their actions, thoughts, feelings all come from writers looking to make an interesting story line. Get to know those people and maybe you can analyze them and come up with what these characters might do next.
So back to the subject of this post...I think Sasha with one of the girls would make for drama and entertainment so why not. It's only wrong if they have a sexual relationship so dont get all crazy, people of all ages can have a emotional connection. Sasha with Payson's mom would also be good, but I dont think him with Chloe would be entertaining enough.
Sasha with Paysons mom? Absolutely not going to happen. Paysons mom and dad are the only solid marriage I see in the entire show. I repeat: not going to happen. If Chloe could tone it down for a bit and be a little more serious enough to further develop her relationship with Sasha, they would be a good fit for one another

Even if it is a television show is a show, and doesn't necessarily have to be accurate, it should still portray real behavior. Human behavior on this kind of thing is dictated by that persons morals. And, Sasha's behavior hasn't portrayed him as the kind of person to be a pervert. His relationship with the gymnast is purely that of a coach, and because the general public doesn't know the exact nature of a gymnast's coach and the gymnast's relationship people pick up the body language different from what it is. Now, I'm getting off topic... But, in conclusion a writer- TV or otherwise- knows that the actions the character does has to coincide with the character's personality. Sasha being a pervert doesn't. I know that the writers job is to sell a show, but if they were to bring a pervert into the story line it would have to be a character that made since.
I don't want to see him end up with anyone, because nobody on the show is right for him. Although he was nice to Emily's mom, I don't think they have much chemistry or compatability. If Sasha's going to have a love interest, they'll need to bring in a new character.
Omg! That is so perverted. There are all these message boards about fricken Sasha getting together w/Pason and Emily ect. If Sasha were to get together w/one of gymnists I would just be grossed out. But if he got w/one of the gym moms tht would be a good twist. I would say either Payson's or Emily's mom.

I think it'll be just a waste if such a hottie didn't hang out with any of the girls. But Emily's mom is a little too simple-minded especially for an Olympic medalist. His ego doesn't allow him to date women like em's mom. I surely like to see something between Payson or her mother and Sasha, but I don't think the writer will let us.

Why is it so important to some of you, who ends up with who?
I mean, this is a show about gymnastics? Right? Right?
Pairings and couples shouldn't be a major plot concern in a show about teenage gymnasts whose lives are focused elsewhere. Although it's true that teenage gymnasts do date, I think the show puts too much focus on it. Why bother making a show about gymnastics if gymnastics is just going to be pushed aside in the interest of "ships" and dating, and all that regular high school rubbish?
This show could be so awesome of it were, just, about the lives of teenage gymnasts. It would be more compelling if the show were about gymnastics first and foremost, because it would show people a side of teenage life that they don't already see every day in high school.
Please don't say, "Gymnastics isn't interesting enough to carry a TV show. All the dating sub-plots need to be there, because it's the only way to make gymnastics seem interesting and dramatic." So gymnastics is really that boring to you, is it? If ABC family felt that gymnastics wasn't an interesting enough sport to carry a TV show, I wonder why they made a TV show about gymnasts?
Anyone who says "They have to focus on couplings and relationships in order to make the show interesting and dramatic" is probably someone who has no idea how epically drama-filled the final countdown to the Olympics can be.
Maybe Sasha won't end up with anybody. Maybe he's got a wife and kids at home already. It doesn't matter if he pairs off with anyone or not. He's the coach, they're Olympic hopefuls, they're in the final push for the Olympics. That should more than suffice for drama in Sasha's life.
And the same goes for Emily -- maybe Emily won't end up with anybody. Maybe gymnastics is her priority right now. Gymnastics alone should be able to provide enough drama and intrigue in Emily's life, don't you agree? Does Emily really need to have romantic love interests in order to be interesting?
The 'ships' though are a major part of any teenagers life whether we're focused on becoming a world class athlete or a band geek and speculating on futre relationships is just fun. The 'ships' are in this show if they weren't we wouldn't hear all the characters' life stories we would simply see them perform, but their relationships affect their performance in the gym.
