Hello, my name is Jennifer Persong, I am 24 years old and have 3 kids. My daughters are both 5 at the moment, my oldest daughter will be turning 6 in a couple of weeks, I also have a 7 month old baby boy. I was in a very abusive marriage that I walked out on last September. My husband strangled me in front of my little girls and now they are traumatized from it. They are in counseling but it is not working. My oldest daughter does not do anything I say, she always comes back with smart remarks. I have tried time out ( she just screams the entire time), spankings, the reward system, I just don't know what to do. I am afraid I will never get her to behave. I am living with my parents at the time being and we always clash on decisions about the children. Please help me before it is too late.
