Need help with my Step son
Posted Tue, 06/16/2009 - 06:08 — gomez339I have a 6 year old step son who does not listen to me AT ALL!!! He actually defies me. And now it is spilling over to my own two younger children. I need to have this corrected but not sure what to do..My husband doenst help much which of course is part of the problem. Its a situation where I have to get the child ready for shcool etc as my husband must work and his mother works too....i know it frustrates my step son but he takes it out on me...As soon as my husband leaves my step son immediately stops listening to me. I can actually see it happen. Please any suggestions are welcome!!!!
I suggest that your husband spends more time with his son. The more time he spends with his father the better. If his father is telling him how great you are, and how much he cares about you. chances are he is going to want to follow in his fathers foot steps.
