What is 'Roommates'?
Posted Mon, 01/26/2009 - 14:02 — abc family teamMark has a thing for Katie, but to her he's just a friend. So what's he do? Becomes her roommate. Smooth. Then there's roommate No. 3, Hope. She's a career woman ... um, without a career. And roomie No. 4, James, has advice for everyone, but he’s no better off than anyone. And finally there’s Thom, who doesn’t actually live in the apartment, but spends a lot of time there. Crushes, hookups, jobs, and other embarrassments keep the comedy rolling as four twentysomething roomies try to become adults.
Watch the series premiere of "Roommates" on Monday, March 23 at 9/8c, followed by the series premiere of "Sophie" at 9:30/8:30c.
like common why did you cancel roommates for once there was a show that wasnt about drama and love and now its canceld bring it back i know that atleast 20 of my guy and girl friends watched it i know they told me.now common give the show a chance it was something different and new.so please bring it backi know it may seem like alot people dont come in here to say to say to save it but maybe because they dont have computers,an account,or something....BRING IT BACK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, stop complaining. This show is really good. Yeah it talks about sex and beer, but that's ok. abcFamily is saying this is a family show because you can sit down and watch this with your teenagers or by yourself if you are old enough. Also, it's shown kind of late for little kids so no need to worry about them. Personally, I like this show. It's funny and i can understand why ABC made this show.

I first saw the commercial for this in a theater. This is the most disgusting thing I have seen happen to TV in a while. You call this a "Family" show, are you Fracking kidding me. What the hell is wrong with ABC networking exec's, no- anyone that is in charge of producing on up to the exec's???!!! It's a bunch of kids running around one apartment having sex, and being ok with it. There are no values there. Put it on cable. And CERTAINLY do not call this FAMILY PROGRAMMING on a supposed 'family' station. I am not even married or have kids, and I no angel, and this made me take minutes out of my day and join this stupid forum to say this, so it must be important. Pull your heads out of Uranus, and get back to the dictionary. the network is retarded.

Okay, so I like some of the shows/movies on this network, but I have a problem with any network that calls itself "family" showing a program like roommates appears to be. The idea of a "family" network does not conjure up images of a bunch of twenty-somethings sleeping around. Your commercials for the show aren't even family friendly. How can I let my family watch this or any other show on your network if you are going to give so little care to you programming. I guess that's one less network we will be watching in our house.

ABC "Family"? There is nothing "family" about this network. You got a pregnant teen that is being glorified on Secret Life... And this network is a-okay with the messages they are sending.
I totally agree with you. I think that the show is promoting "it's wonderful to become parents! Parent's will understand if you get pregnant. There's nothing wrong with sex!" Bring back Kyle XY .. the ONLY show that's truly shows the meaning of "family"

Well this show seems interesting... can't really judge it until I see it... but it sounds good enough to watch.
