How to save Ruby
Posted Sun, 09/13/2009 - 11:08 — JorbyRoxx17Guys, this is bad. Alexa announced on her twitter yesterday that Ruby is not signed for another season. That means no more wonderful Tuesday nights filled with laughter and fun. That means NO MORE JORBY. We have to do something about this! I'm not letting one of my new favorite shows get canceled! This is a joke.
You can help by going to twitter and tweeting #saveruby over and over again. Also, go to twurplefog's twitition: **Link Removed**n SIGN IT! So we can let ABC family know how we feel!
Also, SPREAD THE WORD. If you know other people that love Ruby, let them know so they can help save our show! This isn't fair, and we aren't going to let this happen. SAVE RUBY! ANYTHING you can do to get the word out is great! You can contact ABC family here: http://abcfamily.go.com/abcfamily/path/section_Global/page_Contactus And tell them what you think about them taking away Ruby. (Be professional of course!) Maybe I can make up a general statement for us to send to them... I'll try to work on that!

EDIT: Does anyone have an ABC family account? A tvforum account? An imdb account? If so, please post the twitition on there as well! Also, if you have time, make a youtube video about this... I understand if you don't have time! Just try to do what you can.
This is a great family show. My little brother loves it. He would rather watch it than play on his **link removed** I can't believe they are canceling it. This is absurd!
This is one of the good shows I have seen this season. It really NEEDS to be picked up for more seasons.
I see no cons with it, the pros are: 1) it doesn't have any sex in it. 2) it doesn't have any foul language in it. 3) It shows a family who tries to get along. What's wrong with the show??? Nothing, as far as I can see--so why cancel it??? I told my son, "I'll bet it gets cancelled because of it being a clean, wholesome show. It doesn't have any sex or foul language in it. The networks always cancel the good shows." I say it's time to save a decent TV show. ...and the one that I got the most laughs out of was the one where Shirley Jones was in it. I had been having a bad weekend and the start of a bad week and that show came on and I just laughed and laughed. I love all the other episodes as well, but the next to last episode was my favorite. I hope TPTB consider renewing it.

Had no sex? No Foul Language? Of course it had - SOB was said, jokes about football coach fondling someone, cousin in love with cousin, father wanting to sleep with daughter's teacher, drunken son, deadbeat father. It had all these things (what show were YOU watching to say it was wholesome???), and STILL it couldn't get any viewers to watch! And again I would guess you want it back not because you really think it was a good show, but because you want to see the Cassidy guy. That's all it was to you, but other viewers would rather have had a better written show! This was the ONE show that made your life better after a bad weekend???? Please!

It's over, honey. I'm sure another show will come along that you can watch with your kids and feel good about. The ratings started out good, and then progressively went down. It happens to good shows sometimes.

All this stuff of contacting imdb, tv.com, etc sites, should have been done by fans at the start in July, then maybe more people would have watched the show and it would have kept the ratings up. Now you will tell people to save show they never heard of or saw.
