Ruby (played by Alexa Vegas) is the teenage daughter of David (played by David Cassidy) and niece of Patrick (played by Patrick Cassidy), who are brothers and former teen idols in the band The Rockits. Since David continues to tour and pursue a life in music, he turns to Patrick to help raise Ruby, who joins the family consisting of Patrick, his wife and two sons. "Ruby" was written by Shaun Cassidy and Ed Yeager.

After seeing the promo, I think it could appeal to all ages. It's not much, but it's beginning to make sense. That video of 'I am a dog without a bone' could be on You Tube. LOL!
