O kay so 1st off i love this show but grace is acting like a [filtered word]!!. yeah her mom cheated and it was a mistake it happens, not that i would do that . but if you have feelings for someone than [filtered word] happens. and second yeah graces dad died that doesnt mean her mom should be unhappy. She will love again and she has the right to do so. so get the hell over it ..

I don't think Kathleen should date yet... I just think she should of at least talked to Grace and Tom about it BEFORE she dated the guy, just so she'd know how they would feel. I know that she should be happy and all that, but so should her kids. When you have a family, you think of the good of the whole family, not just yourself, or one person, but everyone. And Kathleen isn't doing that. Not that I think she should NEVER date, but seriously, it's really really soon
you cnt cntrol how you feel even if its sexually or emotionally. if you finds someone tht makes you happy 4 a while after you lost someone you love what are you gonna do stay sad and depressed? or be happy 4 once i vote 4 happiness! Grace has a right to be mad, her mom LIED to her face about dating and then turns around and does it anyway. Her Mom is old enough to make her own decisions but she shouldn't have lied to Grace. Plus it does seem way too soon to be dating again!
I don't believe there's a time limit on how long you should wait to date after the death of someone you loved. When you meet someone who makes you generally happy you can't just ignore those feelings and say "sorry but I'm in mourning for the next 6 months, call me then." I do however feel Kathleen is using this guy as a sort of rebound, mostly because it seems that instead of actually talking to him about her feelings and the experience they seem to be more interested in sex which is unhealthy in her state.
It also depends on how well you were loved in the relationship, Kathleen was undoubedly loved by her husband and she knows that he would want her to be happy.
i wouldnt wanna hear it eithr, but sometimes u have 2....but the truth hurts alot.... trust me i wouldnt want my dad 2 b replaced.....even if he passed away....
I agree with Grace. I'd be mad too. Her mom even said that it was too early to be dating again, but she still is...it's a sticky situation. I wouldn't want my mom to be lonely, but that was fast.
People keep saying it's too early for her to date but everyone is different. Some people date right away some never date again after a spouse dies... it depends on the person and the relationship they had.
