I don't like Ricky with Grace and Ashley. Even though I don't like Grace and Ricky together, they at least weren't as weird and gross as Ricky and Ashley would be. I think ricky is best with Adrian or Amy. I hope Ricky doesn't get with Ashley because I would be so grossed out!

I highly doubt Ricky and Ashley are going to become romantically involoved. It would be out of character for the both of them, seeing as Ashley is far too sensible to be drawn in by him (she's not going to make the same mistake Amy did.) and Ricky hasn't shown any interest in Ashley as anything other than Amy's sister, his son's aunt, and a possible friend. I can however see them being very good friends. Ashley is the kind of friend Ricky needs, first and foremost because she can see past his indifferent facade to the good guy who's struggling to get out underneath(She's seen how great he is with John). Secondly, she'd call him on his B.S. and push him to be the better person she knows he can be. I can see him listening to her because it's not as if she wants anything from him (i.e. sex or some kind of commitment) she just wants him to be a good person for himself, and more importantly John. I can see him responding to her no nonsense attitude in a positive way. I can see him coming to trust her with himself because he'll know she'll be standing by him as long as he tries his best. She'd be like the little sister he never had but always wanted, always needed.

And God help me, if the writers take it anywhere other than that I think I might just pull my hair out. Sometimes it feels like this show is constantly taking one step forward then two steps back.

okay i dont get why people think ashley has a crush on ricky!!! i really dont think ricky would date or even have sex with a 13, 14, year old!!! i think ashley is seeing that maybe ricky is a really good dad and maybe ahsley see's the good side of ricky. And also maybe shes tired of amys attitude like everyone else!

Yeah i hope abc family doesnt put ricky and ashley togethr becuz tht would just be weird and akward on soo many levels! But if those too do get together i'll be upset yes but i will not stop watching the show.

Has anyone noticed that Ashley's attitude towards Amy has gotten more hostile since Ricky has started being over more and becoming a great dad? I'm thinking that (as some teens do) she may be developing a crush on ricky and that is the reason for her bad attitude towards her sister. I'm not saying that ricky and her are going to get together but alot of teens get crushes on their friends siblings or such so i wouldnt be surprised if they both got crushes on each other but i dont feel it will go anywhere...probably one of those passing thing that maybe neither of them will admit. A sign of it is that she identified with Adrian...what i mean by that is if i recall she recently said she sort of liked adrian...i'm wondering if this is because she feels a connect with adrian because of liking ricky and both of them have to see Amy with his baby.
Now yes amy's attitude is horrible as off late....but the thing is I hear kids in school that are like this all the time. It doesnt mean she's a bad person..she's going threw those teen years where one min you hate your parents and the next you love them (back and foreth alot). The kids I see at school think their adults sometimes cus either their having sex or their drinking/partying...and they arent adults... so it seems that the show is trying to show teenagers that though things you do in your life might make you feel like an adult you really arent and you should take a step back..enjoy your youth and realize that you still have lots of growing up to do. At least she is realizing her faults to some minor degree..and it was refreshign to see her stand up for herself a bit ago with the whole adrian thing (even though she took it a bit tooooo far)
I think its great that adrian is looking for something real. Now of course i'm sure her and ricky will cave in and hook up again... its the typical stereotype that her character is playing...but it would be great to see her come up on top...either ricky straighting out (even though i would much prefer him with amy) and marrying adrian...or her finding a man that will treat you right. How much you want to bet that adrian is the way she is because something happened to her in her youth? either its from seeing how her mom was jumping around with dating guys (specially married guys) and not getting married...or maybe she was raped or assualted because that sometimes has the bad result of jading the girl.
I think with the room situation Amy is more hurt then jealous. With being a teen mom she's voiced how she feels she misses out on things...well not getting the bigger room (even though it may seem silly to anyone not in the situation) is kind of another thing on her list of missing out on. To her maybe it seems ashley's a favorite now cus she is the good daughter....because sometimes girls feel they let down their parents after having a kid (post pordom...or however you spell it)
Just my thoughts..anyone have the same ones?
