I was shopping for the season 2 DVD on various sites and it says it only includes 13 episodes. Why the higher price if it only contains 2.0? Any news on the 2.5 release?
Someone on another forum suggested going to Best Buy or Circuit City on 12/28 or 12/29 and asking the most clueless-looking staff member about the DVD set. They might already have it in stock and s/he might give it to you early, not realizing the "Don't Sell By" date. lol It's a great strategy, don't you think?

There are NO partial-season DVDs for Kyle XY Season 2. There was an error in the promotional materials that initially went out saying there were 13 eps/3 discs. That's incorrect. The correction (all 23 eps/6 discs) was sent out later, but none of the retailers applied the change to the text description.
I think it's ridiculous that the official ABC Family store has the wrong description, even after I sent two emails asking about the error.
The "Complete Season 2 Kyle XY Revelations" DVD contains every episode (23 total) plus extras on six (6) discs. http://community.abcfamily.go.com/forums/shows/kyle-xy/kyle-xy-season-3-...

If you look at the specifications for the retailer's item, you'll see that there are actually SIX (6) DISCS.
The "specs" are correct, but the text blurb description is incorrect.
Don't worry - there ARE no partial-season 2 DVD sets. Anything on a "real" retailer's site is the full version.

Both Walmart and Amazon had the old descriptions. Walmart specs don't list the number of discs. I didn't look at the specs on Amazon. Walmart has it for $29.86 and Amazon has it for 29.99. I sure hope you are right. I really want all the episodes.
