Posted Wed, 09/12/2007 - 08:28 — GreekYow! Another Greek cast member got pipes! Two weeks ago Cappie rocked the mic, and now's your chance to come see 'Ashleigh' live onstage.
Amber Stevens plays the 'Lilith Unfair' tomorrow night (9/13) at L.A.'s own The Mint. Here's her shoutout:
'It should be a fun show ... all female performers singing for a good cause: fundraising for breast cancer .... i go on at 9pm. Hope to see you there
*amber*
ps- i sing pop-rock music if you were wondering!
cappie's band rocks hollywood
Posted Sun, 08/19/2007 - 08:28 — GreekIf you missed Sirens Eye Tuesday (8/28) in Hollywood, you missed one sick performance. Scott Michael Foster was on the mic, and Safari Sam's was rocking. Uh, that's Cappie, in case you've been under a rock. Say what you want about overhyped hyphenates -- L.A. has been crawling with actor-model-singer-whatevers for decades -- but these dudes got some serious skills. They can tear up a stage and sprinkle the shreds all over you. Wish you'd been there? Jealous much? Weep not. The Insider was there, cameras in hand, and we shot video of the gig.

Posted Mon, 07/30/2007 - 08:30 — lincoln heightsHey, remember Chrisette Michele? No? Well, you'll remember her soon. The singer-turned-actress makes an appearance on "Lincoln Heights" this season. Check out the sultry, soul-meets-jazz sound of her debut album, "I Am." She's just 24, but this devout daughter of a Long Island deacon has already performed with the likes of India.Arie and Kem, provided vocals for Jay-Z, and cowrote "Can't Forget About You" with Nas.
the king has left the building
Posted Mon, 07/30/2007 - 08:30 — lincoln heightsWhat did you do on your vacation? Russell Hornsby spent his time away from Lincoln Heights in New York City. And he wasn't just soaking up the culture. He was part of it. He starred in "King Hedley II," the eighth play in August Wilson's 10-play cycle about the African-American experience in the 20th century. Russell played King, a man trying to make a better life for himself and his family. Sound familiar? Except King's an ex-con, not a cop. The play was a hit. Russell won raves. Where have we heard that before? If Eddie weren't a cop, what do you think he'd be?
all about erica hubbard
Posted Mon, 07/30/2007 - 08:30 — lincoln heightsCassie Sutton's just a teenager, right? Well, sort of. Erica Hubbard, who plays Cassie, has actually already graduated college! (She's no slouch -- she blazed through Columbia in just three years.) And since the tender age of nine she's been a working actor, doing voiceovers and commercials for jumbo companies like McDonalds and MCI.
Before she nabbed the plum role of "Cassie" on "Lincoln Heights," Erica had appeared in "Save The Last Dance," "A Cinderella Story," "Light It Up," and "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants."
should alexis join the 'gg' movie?
Posted Mon, 07/30/2007 - 08:26 — Gilmore GirlsRumor has it that Amy Sherman-Palladino, the original creator and writer of 'Gilmore Girls,' wants to conclude the story with a two-hour TV movie. Most of the cast, including Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson, seem to be on board. But Alexis Bledel is holding out, word has it, to see how she feels at the time.
What do you think? Should she give Rory one last go, or leave her be? Post your comments below.
