the critics, they love 'the middleman'
Posted Sat, 06/14/2008 - 08:30 — The MiddlemanFirst there's the anticipation. You know the show you've been following is coming, but there's not much information yet. Then there's the excitement. Info flows freely from the Interwebs, trailers hit, posters go up, your confidence skyrockets -- you know this is going to be good! And then come the nerves. Screenings start, and you know the reviews will hit soon ... but you never quite know where the critics will land. Which means the next stage can go one of two ways.
Luckily for middlefans, the next stage is CELEBRATION!
lauren and matthew give sundance a thumbs-up
Posted Tue, 04/15/2008 - 08:26 — Gilmore GirlsSundance is over, but Lauren Graham and Matthew Perry are still gushing about the experience. Believe it or not, neither one had ever been to the big film festival before. Why this time? To talk about their new movie, 'Birds of America,' also starring Hilary Swank.
In the movie, Lauren and Matthew play a married couple -- although not a happily married one. But you'd never guess they weren't supposed get along on screen. At Sundance, fans even began asking if they were, in fact, a couple. 'We do sort of act like a married couple,' joked Matthew. 'Just not that married couple.'
from diner to horror: scott patterson in 'saw iv'
Posted Thu, 10/25/2007 - 08:26 — Gilmore GirlsFrom curmudgeon to killer-tracker ... has Luke finally surrendered to his dark side?
This Halloween, Scott Patterson co-stars in 'Saw IV' as a detective chasing a twisted killer (Tobin Bell). Scott told horror website Bloody-Disgusting about his meeting with 'Saw IV' director Darren Bousman: 'It lasted a couple hours and we hit it off, and we're both quirky in different ways and it felt like it would all work and I liked his passion and vision for the film and then they made a three-picture offer and I was blown away.' Whew! Punctuate much?
