Really?? Wow. My friend, Megan, has that too...we had 2 do scoliosis testing last year, and they were like, "Hey, you got it." And she was like, "I know." But she had to stop doing gymnastics because of it.
i had to stop doing gymnastics because of it too. i did gymnastics from when i was 4-8. i had to stop then because of it. luckally it didnt affect my softball playing abilities altho i didnt start playing softball till i was 10...... anyway scoliosis really [filtered word]. your almost always in pain.
kinda off topic but actually there is a funny story from when i did gymnastics. it turns out that my 7th grade math teacher was one of my gymnastics coaches. on the first day if school in 7th grade i was like "i thought you were a gymnastics coach...." who would have guessed.

I did gymnastics when I was 8 or 9...I don't have scoliosis, but it's weird, like whenever I run or do very heavy activity, my muscles and stuff stiff up and hurt REALLY bad (thats why I get 18 or 19 mins on my mile run!). Anyways, I was really stupid when I did gymnastics. I would do anything, and several times I would sprain my legs or my arms! I KNOW, its off topic, but still!
that stinks...if it's any consolation, I have a much higher risk of getting cancer (more than one person on both sides of my family, with multiple types of cancer).

ya thats scoliosis. i would know; ive had it since i was 7 or 8. scoliosis can also have a c shaped curve. Shailene Woodley actually has it too.

No, that's Scoliosis, and you can get it at any age. I've had a slight case of it since I was 12.
Osteoporosis is a bone disease that leads to less bone density causing bones to become weak. Makes it easier for them to break.
