Something I want you to know about me

I'm 17 and I grew up in Seattle. I'm always trying to look on the bright side of life no matter how much crap comes my way. I love to laugh and I'll look to anything for a laugh, especially in a bad situation. It's the reason I need funny friends. I'm typically a friendly person but if I don't like you, well I'll show it pretty well and sometimes I like too. I love to eat and it's usually a bad idea to leave food around me. See for me, food is like my passing time. What else about me, I love music a hell of a lot. My top two favorite genres would probably be between rap and rock. But I honestly love any genre but all over my iPod is straight up rock, rap, R&B and pop. I like artists from Britney Spears, to The Beatles, to Dead Prez, to Mary J. Blige and the list goes on. I hardly find a artist to be crappy unless it's the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, honestly any type of Disney Channel "singer." Anybody else is either a favorite artist are they're just neutral to me. Actually I have to say this. I F*CKING HATE SOULJA BOY, GS BOYZ, AND ANY OTHER F*CKING "ENTERTAINER" THAT GOES IN THAT CATEGORY!!! I'm obsessed with movies. I love stupid comedies, drama that touches up on issues like racism, sexism, or homophobia or just the issues we have in our society. So I'm in love with movies like Bamboozled, Higher Learning and Boyz N The Hood. I rarely like horror movies because majority of them are stupid and I'm a very big time sucker for movies that are targeted towards a black audience (not really movies like The Cookout and The Salon even though they're okay for passing time). But yeah any who, not much of a TV fan. I have a good deal of favorite shows and it's mostly usually sitcoms I look at and dumb reality shows. I'm just more into movies. I love to read even though I don't read as much as I used too. I'm really into urban novels because they seem more real and I like to read books about history especially black history. And I don't mean those crappy history books they give you in public schools. I mean things along the line like When And Where I Enter and a book that I really want to read, Lies My Teacher Told Me. My heroes would be Angela Davis (she's a strong women that has gone through a lot of battles and she stands for a lot of things that can cause good things in our society), Chelsea Handler (she's a b*tch and I love it and I mean b*tch in a good way), and Jessica Valenti (she's a woman that can come off as intelligent and get her point across without going off because in a lot of her interviews I would have). I really can't explain my personality that well only you can but people think I'm mean but hell whatever. I feel happy with myself so I just don't care anymore.
