this tv show is off to an okay start i just hope it gets better the movie is way better than this and although i understand they have to stretch it out over time i hope it heads in the same direction the movie did or they should change the name of the show
you are honestly soooo right.. i mean this show is pretty good i just wish that it was more like the movie. 10 things i hate about you is my legit favorite movie so i pretty much have high standards for this show. hopefully it will be decently close to the amazingness of the original even though no one can play pat as well as heath ledger

i love this show
I too grew up with this movie and have fond memories of Heath Ledger, Andrew Keegan, Julia Stiles, Larissa Olynick, and Joseph Gorden Lovitt (forgive me me for the miss spells). I do however understand that in order to create a tv show from a movie things have to be stretched out and changed, I don't however think that from this first episode it's living up to what was created from the movie. The kid who plays Joey in this show is extremely moronic and nothing compared to what Andrew Keegan was and the girl who plays Kat is alright but she didn't want anything to do with Patrick until Cameron and his side kick came up with their paln. I will say however, though the character of Chasity in the movie was a small part, the girl who plays her in the tv show is a spitting image of Gabrielle Union and does a great job. I do have hopes for this show, but I would highly suggest those who were around or were too young at the time to watch the movie... plus you can see Heath Ledger right when he first became famous in the US.
I love this show, its the best!

OK heres the deal, the movie is one of my favs and I was really agains the idea of making it a show, but I decided to give it a chance and after watching it I realized that it wasn't bad. Infact I will keep watching it. The thing is people are expecting it to be just like the movie, and lets face it its not going to be. What you have to understand is that the movie was a modern day version of shakespeare's taming of the shrew (great play I recomend it.) so the plot of the movie followed the play as best as it could, and the characters in the it are basicly the same as those of Shakespeare's. Now the show is still fallowing the basic plot line but its not as focused on the play as the movie was. Its more focused on the character traits and taking you more in tho the world of each character unlike the movie. Over all I think given a chance this show can be really good.
I totally agree w/ people. I wish this show would be an hour kinda like Make it or Break it!! i so can't wait to see the 2nd and 3rd and so on......

This show is pretty good. Bianca is a lil bit ditzier than Larisa Olyenik's characterization. The girl they picked for Kat puts Julia Styles to ultimate shame especialy her terrible looks. This Kat is smokin! The tough dude reminds me of that guy from No country for old men. Im diggin this show. RIP H.L.
ive never seen the movie but i LUV the show. i think the girl who plays Kat is perfect for the part! i totally remember her from nickeloden! lol but i missed the 1st 15mins of the 2nd episode so i missed like half of it! it makes me REALLY pissed that its only half n hour long. i would like it soo much more if it was an hour.... but yeah, really awesome show

I have to say that I grew up with the movie and absolutely love it. This tv show seems to be alright and not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. However, it's not like the movie... but who wants two things that are exactly the same? I like that they made the girls new to the school instead of Cameron. Another thing, they made Chassidy one of the main characters which she wasn't in the movie. Also, Joey seems to be an idiot in this tv show and then in the movie he was a main part of the movie... it's just kinda weird. However, I'm going to watch the show cause it seems to be kinda interesting.
