Remember when Brad was going on about porno and cigars? Patrick came back into the shop pretty quickly at that point. He let Kat fend for herself, but he was definitely there just in case. It was only after Kat had dealt with the issue that he made a semi-snide comment himself. Likewise, when Cameron pushed the bully, Patrick immediately stepped closer, just in case. A protector isn't always somebody who starts swinging when something happens, sometimes it is somebody that is there to offer support if needed/wanted.
OMG I love this part:

In my opinion, I think the eyeliner on patrick really needs to go. And come on it lokks like he wears that lip stainer to make him look pale. And remember when Kat kept on taking pics of him, come ON he was so posing! I mean who does that naturally? I don't know it jsut looked kinda fake. haha, but Bianca and Dawn!? Wow! funnnnnyyy. But i think her dad is WAAAAY to extreme. :

WOW, this is briliantly written and your right about the side chraters helping a lot with making this show great! Right, when the end of the show came I was like, I can't wait, I have suspence for the next one!! And yes secret life is way over the top ready I can sum it right now kissing and no love there's no middle.

I loved this episode!!!!!! Mandella and Kat are an amazing duo. I want to see more of them. seriously!!!!! & the whole Pat thing is lacking something in his character development.... i do love his character but there doesnt really seem like theres any real chemistry between Kat and Pat. more like the next episode is going to be a bet or a trick by Pat. That would be an interesting twist.

Thank you ABC family!!! Finally a show I can watch regularly without getting uncomfortable (Secret Life is getting to be too much). And I actually liked the lack of Kat and Pat action, more suspenseful. Plus, I think it's the side characters that make this one great, the dad is a crack up, the counselor, Mandella -- love them all. The balance of female relationships is what puts this on the top as far as HS tv depictions go. It's brilliant.
I feel bad for Meaghan Martin for having to kiss that girl. That would be so awkward and embarassing!!

But they did such a good job of showing how awkward it was for both of them. That wasn't a kiss. It was a lip bump. That's it. Both of them just froze in place, and it wasn't from sexual tension. Lol!
