*Ricky is right—I’ll say it again: Amy is to blame for the pregnancy, too!
*Nicely worded Lauren: "I am not you. I know how to say ‘no.’” Cruel.
*OH! THAT’S what Madison meant by Ricky is “in treatment.” “Mental patient” is hardly an accurate term for someone seeing a psychologist. But there are the stereotypical high schoolers for you, inflating everything.
*Ah, I knew Adrian would be alone, not with the counselor. And yet, Mark is gone…Where is he?
*“That’s not ethical.” They’re YOUR records the guy is trying to sell to you, Ben, not someone else’s. More Ben brain power!
*That guy taking over Mark’s office is REALLY annoying. He and Ben should be connecting, not clashing!
*Ben doesn’t seem that rich. It’s not as though he has a really nice house or expensive clothes.
*So Madison raises her voice when she says the words, “mental patient,” and we’re to assume everyone in the hall who heard her connected the dots and figured Ricky is the one to whom she was referring? How would they make that connection? On the basis that she was talking with Amy? Seems far-fetched…
*These are Jack’s words, the guy who wants Grace back: “People already think you’re weird enough.” Smooooth…
*Good for you, Grace! Jack is trying to make you out to be any guy’s next victim, but as long as you are unflinchingly rigid in your promise to yourself, you don’t need a ring to let the world know your intentions. It’s like being able to refuse offers from singles when you’re married even if you don't have your wedding band on.
*Jack, you’d call yourself a nice guy? And great job calling Ricky “psychotic” with the rumor about him that's circulating. Real tactful.
*Grace isn’t a big tease. She said she’d never have sex before marriage; that doesn’t mean she isn’t attracted to you enough to make out with you. It just means she has self-control. Jack knew what to expect from her!

*People think Lauren believes she’s smarter than everyone else because, like Amy said, she makes other people feel stupid. Amy brings up some good points in their conversation. And Lauren wonders why people believe she thinks she's smarter than everyone else, when just in this conversation she says she figured out that Ricky was abused because “she’s smart.”
*It works; I do feel sorry for Ricky on some level, but not enough to excuse his mind games.
*Ricky doesn’t need a ring to tell him when to stop? Oh yes he does!

Ok, I think that yes, it is part Amys fault, but Ricky probably suduced her into it. So its both of their faults. But John will have a good home, even tho he will have a messed up lie, he will make the best of it. I think MAy and Ricky will grow closer and Ben will stay friends with Amy, but as you see in the other episodes, he is clingy and says thaings he shouldnt.

I think that Amy caught Ben of guard when she asked him if he wanted to have sex with her. I think Ben made a good choice by telling her that he wanted to wait till he got married. That makes him a much better guy then Ricky.

I'm not going to talk in hindsight, because that wouldn't be helpful. But I will say, in the future, save sex for marriage, or at least for when you are in love and are physically and emotionally prepared to care for a baby should you become pregnant.
I wish you hadn't waited until you are four months into your pregnancy to tell your parents. That's very far along--too late to have an abortion. I hope you've been conscious of your diet.
My advice: Tell your parents ASAP. Tell them you made a huge mistake and had sex about four months ago with a fourteen-year-old and wound up pregnant. You know better than I do what your exact approach and wording should be, considering you know your parents and I don't. Make sure you sit them both down and to do so at a time when you know you'll have ample time to talk. (Like on a weekend.)
Next, arrange immediately for an appointment with a gynecologist. You need to make sure your baby is healthy and you are doing everything possible for your and your baby's well-being.
Lastly, tell the father of your child. I don't care whether you like him or not, he deserves to know, and it will be good to have his support, should he offer it. Try not to be accusatory, because if the sex was consensual, the blame--and responsibility--is mutual. Encourage him to be involved and encourage your parents to be supportive of his involvement, too.

you're only twelve !? omg that's terrible. you need to tell your parents, you're too young to be giving birth ! i don't think anyone should be having sex until they are old enough to take care of themselves and the baby on their own, and are able to tell their parents and their parents consider the pregnancy a blessing [ a.k.a after marriage. ] and not a mistake.
and word of advice, keep your legs closed.

this show is completely unrealistic (but somehow I am addicted) trust me I know, I am 20 and have a 9 month old and another one on the way. I think Amy should take responsibility though, I mean come on... she just EXPECTS her mom to take care of the baby while shes at school? thats a little lame, and isn't she waaay too pregnant to still be pretty much in denial?
I agree, Bekah_x3. I am 18 with a baby on the way. While this show is fully addicting, it is very unrealistic. From the way everyone is shunning her (teen pregnancy seems to be so common these days that nobody seems to be phased by it) and to the way that she just seems to still not have accepted that she IS INDEED HAVING A BABY, the show is unbelievable. Somehow though, it is easy to relate. It reminds me of how much better off I am than so many girls. At least I made it out of high school and got started on college first.
Oh and btw, I wish you luck with two children so close in age. You are a brave soul and I would be terrified to have such a young child then go for another!
to the girl who said something about a girl at her school that is 13 and pregnant, that is horrible. and that is her own fault, first of all....13 is young! girls should still be virgins at 13! and really the best thing you can do is let her be. if she wants someone to talk to she will ask, until then leave her be and let her fix her own problems

This show's theme has a lot of potential but I think they should be covering more teenage problems than just sex and pregnancy. How about rampant drug use, abuse, etc...

i totally feel terrible for amy. there is a girl at my school who is pregnant, she is 13. her bf(and father of the baby) is 21. it is a sad thing. when she first moved to our school she was very defensive and i think i know why. i think she moved to our school because it is small and she could have gotten made fun of at her school. even though i try hard to talk to her and make her feel welcome she yells at me and cusses me out. it is not personal because she does that to everyone that tries to help her. i feel bad and do not know what to do. i need help.

First off, that guy committed a crime by having sex with a minor. Creepy!
As for advice...leave her be. You cannot help someone who doesn't want help, or doesn't recognize or admit that she needs it. All you can do is be kind to her and let her know you're there if she needs to talk (provided you two are close on some level already). But don't be too demonstrative, or you will grate on her nerves, based on what you've said about her yelling and cussing you out. She may think you're pitying or belittling her, or are trying to suggest she can't make it on her own (which would trigger a fierce reaction in someone who considers herself independent and capable).
Bottom line: Tell her you're there to help, and then let her be. Let her come to you if she chooses.
