I have to say that when this show first came out I didn't think that I would like it, so I never watched the first season, and now that they're on the second season..I'm wayyyy far behind..and I like alot better than I thought I would!!

Okay so for all you ppl bashing on young love and young parents your flippin stupid... I had a baby at 17 and turned out just fine. I worked until the day i had my baby. I am 18 now and have been married for a year and I own my own house along with my own own car. I am also a med student and me and my family are great. Not all young teenagers Are stupid and dont know what love really is. Amy and ben should be together because that is what they want. Ricky may be "hot" but that is not what is best for that baby.

Ok, you can fall in love at that age but you are probably not mature enough to handle it. Ricky, is a jerk. Why hasn't anyone noticed that he puts a guilt trip on every girl.. they feel sorry for him.. then they sleep together. Amy should not be with him just b/c he is the Father. Ben is a nerd but he is a good guy, he is clingy but he wouldn't hurt Amy. Adoption and abortion is no good, I think that mom is a jerk for pushing it so hard.

wow, Jack just got made out to be a putz. You don't walk into the ghetto and whip out a wad of cash like that. And i had a feeling the the candy bar thing was some kind of scam...I mean come on...$5 a bar? Amy and Ben are both spoiled children and if they were mine and not putting up the initiative to take care of that baby, I'd hurt like heck, the baby would have to go up for adoption. Amy is riding the 'i'm pregnant' thing too hard. And it can only go but so far. She put herself there and now she expects pity. Makes me wanna slap her...she's not pregnant in the face.

oh and p.s.-im seeing comments that sound like some young girls interested in having a baby or other young girls who have a baby (or more than one) encouraging other young girls that its ok. its not, its hard, its heartbreaking, its confusing, its painful. you need to grow up first, meet someone, learn about them, build on trust, then get married, and then think of having kids. life isnt easy but you dont have to make things harder on yourself just because. its so much better when its not a broken home. im not saying it doesnt work, cuz people make it work, just dont jump into anything, grow up and take your time an that way when you do have kids when your married you can teach them all the life lessons that you were able to have and you will be able to enjoy your childhood whlie it lasts. its worth it to wait!!!!
