can you learn how to spell pregnant? the only trouble with this show is that 15 year olds are ignorant and seriously don't know how to handle sex. you'll probably never in your life find someone like ben and wind up only finding ricky's.
In the first episode Amy looked so young and innocent but in the flashbacks she looks like she does now, but I went back and watched the 1st episode and they all looked so young espicially Amy!!!
I love this show. Amy is too moody in this show but thats how pregnant people are, they have those mood swings and thats how Amy is. Ben was being so nice to Amy and Amy was being so mean. Ben is a great guy but he is too jealous. I really want Amy and Ricky together. I know he still likes her, he always did and Amy still likes Ricky. Look at how Amy is sitting there having dreams about Ricky. She still like's him. awwww

Alright, this has to be one of my favorite shows. Mainly because I find the views on teen sex and parenthood interesting. I have never in my life seen anyone act like these people have. But I suppose it is just an act. I don't think 15 year olds should be having sex, but it's not really an age thing it's the ability to understand that sex is an adult thing and you need to be ready to handle what happens. I lost my virginity at 17, with a guy I loved. I don't regret that at all. I understood what the consequences would be and we both talked about how we could prevent pregnancy and what would happen if it did happen. We were as mature as we could be at 17. I am no longer with him, but I am glad I lost it to him. I regret nothing. I have been with a few other guys and have yet to have any problems. But it really depends on the person. Based on the vocabulary of most of the people on here I don't think you guys are ready. And that person who tried to get attention by being 10 and pregnant: Grow up. Really. Sex is a big deal, and sh*t happens. Be prepared to deal with it or don't do it at all.
i agree that this is my favortie show too and that is how some family act and not just because its just an act and i am 16 years old and agree 15 and younger should not be having sex and the older i get the younger it seens kids are having sex which i think it just plain wrong but like you said about it not being an age things its not i agree on that too but that fact you said its the ability to understand that sex is an adult thing that is not true sex is a anything type thing you have to be phycially and mentally ready which most teenagers think they are but really arent so i would understand you saying ins an adult thing because you more experienced with the consequences of what can happen but the fact that you say you lost your virginity at age 17 which law wise you are not an adult so you cant really stand by the sex being an adult thing and vocabulary does not consider when you are or are not ready to have sex and yes sex is a big deal and be prepared to deal with it is always a great thing but being a teenager and not doing it is so much easy then to be prepared for something you wont be prepared for right when it happens so i agree with being repared to deal with it or dont do it at all.

Everyone, there have been so many comments on "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" website where 10-19 year olds say they are pregnant. I am so sorry to all of those young ladies for what they are going through. That is very sad but, the gift of life is one of the most greatest gifts God has blessed us with. Everyone, please save your virginity for when you are married, have a job, and are truly ready to have sex. That is what is very important! I am happy to be a virgin and I know that God is going to be with me, and I feel the same way for everyone that is reading this comment. God loves you and He wants you to fall in love and wait until marriage. It is only whats best. I wish eveyone well! God Bless!!
