its sort of sad to see a 15 year old pregnant, w/ her parents getting a divorce? it is really sad. but for the people who disagree with this show, they really probably havent seen the whole 1rst season. im not trying to act 'teenish' -im just saying this show has a great lesson. i am almost in high school, so im takin this show at an advantage for my age. i would NEVER have sex at an age like that, not even peer-pressure would make me do it. never. i was born and raised as a christian. this show is excellent, and i think ricky is a jerk to amy. she should totally stay with ben. ben is really sweet. totally. keep watchin it, its a good show, my parents may not think this show is appropriate, but my parents never think the things i watch are- so, it dont matter to me.

I cant wait until the new season!!!!!!! I'm really anxious to see whats to come in Amy's life whether it be with Ben or Ricky. I truly want her to stay with Ben He is awesome to her and completely has her back to the fullest. Ricky on the other hand just wants girls on their back for him. Sorry to put it that way but it's sooo the truth. Ricky is a big time player and I doubt he'll ever change unless Grace really gets to him. Well i'm counting down the days!!! 2 1/2 days to go!!! YAY

Yuo know i think that amy and ricky should be together becaue he is its real dad. If she is with ben that baby is going to be confused if its mother is telling it it has to father. and i don't like ben and I'm happy he got beat up

I think amy and Ricky should get together because I dont think amy and ben are a good couple.I think amys mom should at least help her a lil bit intell amy is out of school and has a job. if Ricky really liked amy he would be there for her every min. and would try to help her all he can because when your pregnate you really cant do anything because you cant lift anything heavy.

I am sorry, but I don't agree with you at all on any of the subjects. Ricky is a total jerk and shouldn't be part of thi sbaby's life. Ben is great with Amy and they love eachother so much. Amy or anybody wouldn't want somebody like Ricky in there life. He goes from [filtered word] to girl every single day and he is just rude. (I could use much worse language, but I don't want to get in trouble.)

Also, with Amy's mom helping her I totally agree with that, but even when is out of school and has a good job she is still going to need help. I mean it isn't like she is just go live on her own at age 17 or wahtever with Ben and not have any help from her mother. Jsut thing about if you were in Amy's position....would you want Ricky or Ben in your life.......would you want your mother in your life at this time andd even when you are older..........

I sooooo agree with you Ricky doesn't deserve to be with Amy and the baby their too good for him what he needs to do is get back with Adrian because they deserve each other. I really hope Amy and Ben get married, he really knows the responsibility that comes with a child and he is willing to take it.

I am a born again christian, a mother of two and a wife and I still watch this show. I encourage young people to learn from this show. The show tells a story of what could happen if a teenager, or someone of any age, has sex outside of wedlock. Although I do not completely agree with the morals of the show, I feel like this is a teaching tool for the new generation. Sex in underaged people is the number one problem that our youngest generations are facing, peer pressure and acceptance is harder to come by or refrain from then it was in my high school days. I think this show is showing what could happen. I appreciate the fact that ABC Family is not making a mockery out of this program, instead making it something that will attract young people and make them think before they act. As far as the rest of the morals of the show, I do not agree with the fact that EVERYONE in the Grant High School is contempulating, or actually having sex. I find that part of the show a little repulsive. Maybe if we teach our youth that abstence is the best policy then we wouldn't have to have shows like this...because we would have nothing to teach on. Schools need to teach the word "no" before they teach the word "condom" and because of this, I feel the show needs to have a little more self control on that aspect.

To the teens watching this show: Sex is great, but only if you are old enough to enjoy it mentally as well as physically. Think before you act. Accidents happen, even with condoms, depo or any other type of birth control. Do you want to be a mom/dad at 12? 13? 14? or even 17? Live your life, your only young once, cherish being young and having no ADULT responsibilties, then when you are ready, mature enough for whatever comes next, make the next step. Don't be to over eager to grow up...it's not that fun being a grown up...bills and jobs are a lot more stressful then going to high school, I know...I've been there.

Okay BeachMom3. i know thats what your thinking. my mom said the same but
it teaches you not to go down the same road as Amy.... It teaches us teens
to help you parents...its a good way to teach sex ed to teenage girls.... we enjoy the show
and its something that we also learn from. Its not against morals...its more of a teaching tool.
think of it that way.

This show is awesome and it teaches young teenagers the consequences of having sex before marriage. If you watched the entire first season you would know that the only reason Amy's dad cheated on the mother was because they weren't truly meant for each other. They got married because Amy's mother got pregnant with her at a young age so Amy's dad thought the right thing to do was to get married so they could raise Amy like a real family. This is another example on why you shouldn't rush things such as sex and marriage and that is exactly what the show points out. So thanks to ABC family for this awesome show that teaches young teenagers what could happen if you basically rush things in life!!

I think its a great show. It is great for teenage girls to watch too. Because it shows them what highschool can be like. How girls can prevent getting pregnant, and what it can do to their life, and how that you should try to deal with this stuff instead of throwing your whole life away. Another good thing it does is it show people how highschool can be and that not everyone is there for your benifit, they can just be therefor their personal gain... Trust me that happens ALOT in highschool... This show is amazing and I CAN'T WAIT for the new season, its so close, but yet so far away...

OMG! Can't wait until the new season starts in January; all the drama, family drama, hook ups, brake ups and of course the baby that's about to be born. I LOVE this show sooo much. I think Amy should try and work things out with Ricky because Ben is kind of annoying but they are in love so I guess she would be better off with Ben not Ricky.

This show is terrible. Almost all the characters are totally one dimensional. and poor Amy--every man in her life is controlling and pushy. Its ironic that the only one who seems to be interested in what she wants is Ricky. Her dad and Ben just tell her what to do based on what they want. I hope the new season develops the characters better, that Amy's dad moves to Nigeria, and that Amy dumps Ben.

ricky and amy should not be togeather. because he is always gonna be cheating on her. he is not changing for all the people who r sayin he is. amy and ben should stay togeather because ben relly loves her. for instance, after ricky FINALLY got grace he ask out ANOTHER girl, and that was in the last episode. so thats just what i think

Amy and Ben are better together than Amy and Ricky. At least Ben shows that he actually cares about Amy. All Ricky cares about is himself and getting what he wants. Just because Amy is having Ricky's baby is no reason to stay with him. I speak from experience.
