My thoughts on episode 8:
Alzheimer's is not the same as senility. She’s crazy, not forgetful!
*The grandma--oh, excuse me, Mimsy--is wacky.
*Why does Anne seem so cold towards the grandma at the beginning of the episode?
*Whoa, Amy’s dad was sleeping in a furniture store? And he just had to scratch his butt as he walked away...
*Ben, it’s not wrong that Ricky gets to have normalcy in his life! It’s a nature-given luxury (or God-given--whichever you like) that guys are not the ones who have to go through the pregnancy. But personally, I think girls are lucky to be the ones to get to go through having a baby. I'm sure it's an experience like no other.
*That’s no way to talk to a counselor, Ben, about his being afraid of taking a chance on love, especially when he's only trying to help. I don’t think our elders are entitled to being respected by those younger than them solely on the basis that they're older and--IN THEORY--wiser. I think everyone EARNS respect. It's not a hand-out based on your salary, the way you look, your age, etc. But we high schoolers have to play the game of respecting our teachers and other school staff because we'd be in trouble otherwise. But some of them really don't deserve it, especially when they don't even return the respect we show them.
*Adrian, stop manipulating Ricky for being responsible!
*Amy IS running away like a child. Ricky is right.
*True, Ricky, Jack is a joke of a choice for Grace.
*Ricky knows what a nimrod Madison is. She's such a sucker. And Lauren's right about her looking like a child star out of her prime.
*Why are Madison and Lauren--Amy's supposed BFF's--competing for Ricky’s attention? Just so they feel desirable and sexy? Pathetic. That's their concern at a time like this.
*Boy, Adrian’s turning on her wily temptress wiles on the counselor. Bold.
*Enough with Ben's hallucinations. We get it!
*Oh, yes he can, Alice. He can wait to eat until he sees Amy. Wait, that means he'll be dead. Oh, yes! I mean, Oh no!
*That’s a lot of lip stick on that dude’s forehead from Adrian.
*I didn’t realize Adrian had never even known her father. That's sad. She and Ricky really are alike. A girl not having a father at home--or, at the very least, a father figure-- can REALLY damage her feelings of self-esteem and self-worth. She isn't shown what level of treatment she deserves from guys. For this reason alone--if for no other--fathers need to be a part of their daughters' lives.
*Wow, Amy’s dad is a child with his conversation with Anne! He's so detestable.
*Is Amy for real about the honeymoon? Yes, after an expensive delivery and with all the baby-related expenses to come, fly to Paris to honeymoon--aka, primarily have sex with Ben, the activity that got you in trouble in the first place. And where will the baby be while they're gone? Being cared for by someone other than his/her mother, who's responsible for him/her? Insane!! Not to mention two fifteen-year-olds getting married is insane.
*Is the grandma on drugs?
*George, you’re not attractive OR smart.
*No, you don’t know marriage is a commitment, George, obviously.
*Ew, Madison and Lauren’s brother? Why?
*Ben and masturbation? I don’t think so. That would be a romantic line: "Amy, I gave up masturbation for you!"
*When Grace said her father constantly does things he's not supposed to as a doctor, such as "helping people," she makes it sound as though doctors aren’t supposed to help their patients! What strange wording.
*Oh, the grandma ISN'T on drugs, and that's the problem.
*And why didn’t the grandma tell the family she’s sold the house? She forgot, I suppose?

Most them are not actually proud of being pregnant that young, but they a proud of making the best of the situation that they had. It was a mistake for most. However, making the best of the hand you've been dealt and being confident and happy with who you are and the little person that you are raising is the most rewarding experience in the world!!
Not that I respond to most of these post. Sometimes I think they are just to get things off someone's mind when it appeals to the person's cuteness or hotness or whatever they call it now a days. Secondly, not all of us are proud to be preggo's at a such a young age, but alot of us have accepted the fact and have learned to look toward the future. I honestly hope that they are accepting of that fact that they have to support another human beings. Secondly, I am proud of the fact that I am a teenage mother (I was 15 when I had my son, I am not 25). He was the best and worst thing that ever happened in my life. The worst part of it was nothing have a teenage life that everyone gets to experience. Secondly he is the best thing of my life a great blessing in surprise. I graduated high school and got a BA degree in child psychology. Most important of all he made me work even hard to make sure I could provide even more for him as we get older. Thought I would throw my 2 cents in

FYI all the reason it wasn't working but now is is that ABC was loading new advertising into the servers so they could annoy us viewers every 15 minutes or so. ARG. Even on an online feed we get commercials. Any ways this is a good show and this was a good episode. Heart touching. Well done Brenda Hampton and crew. 7th Heaven was also a good show in it's days too. Thanks.

I LOVE THIS SHOW
I really like this show it shows a different side to a teenagers life in this show its not like the rich 90210 or The OC kinda show, I really like the girl who plays Amy shes a great actress and this who gives hope to all other young teenage girls who are in the same situation dealing with sex, and pregnancy...Im a 29 yr old mother and i love this show cant wait for the next season!
